About the adventure

In the land of Theros, where the divine walk among mortals and the tapestry of destiny is ever changing, your tale begins. You, a favored child of fate, stand at the crossroads of what is and what will be. Born of both mortal and godly blood, your essence thrums with power — yet the path before you is uncertain. The gods watch closely, their influence shaping the course of your journey. But beware — divine favor is fickle, and every gift comes at a price. Will you become as heroes of old, championing the will of the gods, or will you carve your own destiny in defiance of their designs? What to Expect: - A campaign rooted in myth and destiny, where the gods themselves play a direct role in the lives of the players. - Opportunities for deep character development, as your divine heritage and supernatural gifts shape your story. - Explore a world filled with heroic feats, epic battles, and the mysterious will of the gods.

About me

Hello adventurers! My name is Squint and I've been playing D&D for four years, two of them as an in-person DM. I decided to take my DMing online because I had a great DM in my first online campaign as a player which really helped me develop a love for D&D — and I want to be able to do that for someone else! I especially enjoy emphasizing the social aspect of D&D. I believe the game is at its best when players engage with each other in character by sharing ideas, making plans, and collaborating to build a vibrant and exciting world together. I encourage players to engage in small talk and work together in character to make meaningful decisions that shape the world they inhabit. For me, the most rewarding moments in D&D come from the connections forged by creating a story that is unique to the people on the board.

Players are limited to the following races for setting & lore purposes: - Centaur - Eladrin - Elves - Genasi - Half-Elves - Human - Leonin - Minotaur - Satyr - Tabaxi - Triton More Info on Character Creation: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ceJBBWUcq_yQvZ3mZ7pVNM546A6LAzl4/view?usp=sharing

What SqntEastwood brings to the table

I offer a virtual tabletop experience that includes elements such as music, NPC voice acting, and premium maps and assets from creators I subscribe to or created myself In terms of DM style, I stick to the philosophy of "Rule of Cool, as long as it doesn't break the game." That means that if a player wants to do something that isn't quite "Rules as Written" I'll work with them to make it happen, unless there's just no way to do it without breaking the game (in which case, we'll work collaboratively to see what we can make happen!)

Homebrew rules

- When using 2014 rules, all characters get a free starting feat - Crits are full base damage + rolled crit damage - Drinking a potion is a bonus action - Switching between weapons does not cost any type of action, unless switching from melee to ranged or vice versa - To perform the Help Action during roleplay and exploration, a character must have proficiency in the stat, or the stat related to the skill, that they are helping with
