About the adventure
A magical girl campaign loosely based around Madoka Magica and other magical girl shows. You and a group of other girls will slowly become friends while trying to hunt down witches. But lately there have been more and more witches and other magical girls have been going missing! It up to you mystical maidens to put a stop to the witches before anyone else gets hurt! The campaign takes place in New Haven, a semi-futuristic city. The age range of the characters would be between 12-17. Good luck heroes!

About me
Itching for adventure and immersive storytelling? Then I'm your GM! A kind fae that would definitely never steal your name, soul, or anything else of the sort, and I resent the accusation! I have a background in theatre and years of playing pretend in the woods, so expect lots of over the top roleplay, whimsy, and lots of in depth worlds! I place a lot of important on open communication, rule simplifying, and above all else, having a great time. Of course, new players are more than welcome at all of my games! I love building worlds that feel lived in, with a lot of culture and many individual characters. I also LOVE taking the ideas my players give me, and running with them. So don't be surprised when that one small joke you made during character creation comes back at a large scale in the story! I am flexible, adapt to my player's needs and put great effort in my games. Creating your character
Once you have signed up, I will put you into my discord server where you can chat with other players. It will have all of the resources you will need for the game. From there we will arrange a one on one meeting to build your character and brainstorm what kind of story you would like to tell! From there we will schedule a session 0 with everyone and see how everyone knows each other and meets.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Try to familiarize yourself with the rules as best you can. If you're new to playing, don't worry, we go over it together in our meeting as well. Try to brainstorm what kind of Magical Girl you want to be. Have some inspiration in mind, and an idea of what class you will want to play. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART is to think of what kind of wish you made to become a magical girl. Everyone made a wish to get their powers, and it will effect your powers and views!
What Alex Teatime brings to the table
I will supply you with the TSL rulebook and character sheets. Before session 0 I will have a 1 on 1 to help you brainstorm your character and feel comfortable in the world. As we play expect lots of character voices. Additionally I am known to take what ever crazy ideas you give me and implement it into the world and story, so don't be surprised if your backstory comes back in game! I am very much a rule of cool GM so don't be afraid to pitch your crazy ideas.

How Alex Teatime creates a safe table
Because this game is based on Madoka Magica pretty heavily, there will be some darker themes including dark back stories and NPC death. There is a chance of PC death but only if everyone agrees that that is something they are willing to explore. We will go over stafety tools at the beginning of the game and have check ins every session. Saftey tools will be explained extensively session 0 and reviewed a few more times to make sure everyone understands and feels safe! Additionally, at the end of every session we will have a talk to see how everyone is feeling and what you would like to see more and less of in future sessions.
