About the adventure

Valiant heroes are truly epic... not as in cool (thought they can be) but as in fleeting stories of heroism in a grander narrative called "History". Or at least that's something you remember being told to you once as you're allies and friends around you fall and take their last breaths. Moments later you awake to the smell of sulfur and Brimstone and find yourself and your allies in the flaming hellscape known as Avernus. You have one mission, escape hell and get revenge on the one who killed you and your allies. A fun idea I've had for a while for a campaign set (mostly) in hell. This is a game meant for people of any level of experience and will have a goal of teaches everyone in it at least one new thing. I will also put an emphasis on comedy and humor, I enjoy laughter almost too much so expect to have lots of fun and laughs.

About me

I love D&D and TTRPGs and love meeting new people, I've got many D&D ideas, and don't want to overwhelm my friends with so many characters and campaigns. I'm also a man all about the sillies and the goofs so if you want a campaign with serious story while giggling until you fall out your seat then I'm your guy.

Character creation

Creating your character

The staring level is 4, stats generation can be any of the 3 standard method (If you like I can walk you through those), and characters can and will be made however you want so long as you can send it to me, I am not taking custom made stuff/homebrew (for the most part, flavor is a whole other thing) and will only allow official content. Characters and sheets will be made beforehand and I will try and be available to call over discord for any questions.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Obviously bring a character sheet, and have a mic to join a discord call. That is all that is required, we have bots for dice if you don't have any, owlbear rodeo is our map device and last I checked it is available on mobile even without an account.

What Kat brings to the table

I will have custom maps available, I have some ambient music I've been meaning to try. I have many voices and am training to do more. I also will make a D&D beyond campaign to share some books and will be using part of the income from this to buy more as time goes on. And my partner is an amazing artist willing to do commissions of characters as cheap as $10.

Safety

How Kat creates a safe table

I personally have several things that I cannot handle in my games, and I truly wish it to be a place of fun and adventure, but things can happen so I will always set up at least a place where players if they have any issues can come to me and those can either be addressed anonymously or not
