Audio: https://audio.com/randall-tyc/audio/curse-of-strahd ___________________________________________________ In the fog shrouded land of Barovia, evil can be smelt on the air and felt in your bones. It is a place held captive by death; its people feeling its strangling grip far too young. Its forests, plagued by creatures, both cursed and dire. A place where joyous youth and peaceful age are midnight birdsongs. Where death is no mere concept but is who rules the land. What a foul place for you to find yourself... ___________________________________________________ In this classic D&D campaign, you will take on the role of an adventurer who has, through one means or another, found themselves within the trapping mists of Barovia. The foul stench on the air also carries a whispered name, the ruler and terror of these lands, Countess Strahd Von Zarovich. Her name is said in hushed tones, as few are willing to invoke her wrath and far too many have seen what it can wrought. Will you find a way to escape these cursed lands? Will you fall to its plagues and curses? Will you be able to face Countess Strahd and live to tell the tale?

About me
The tension is weighty, suffocating: a moment suspended on the edge of a blade. Live, or die. Fight, or run. Figures move in the shadows - wolves, goblins, sweeping robes, shapes only seen in nightmares. Panic threatens to drown you; you glance about, danger everywhere. From behind, you hear the sound of steel against a scabbard; a low incantation begins; a growl reverberates. You divine the presence of trusted companions, and you swallow your fear. You are not trapped - these shadows are. In your hand, you sense your power - your quiver, your sword - and you cast it forth. Time slows, fates bend, and the silence breaks with the sound of destiny manifesting: Natural Twenty. ____ Welcome, friends, to the Cherry Tree! My name is Randall, and I’m here to do what I love most in this world: tell stories with others. Those stories may range from the horrific to the hilarious, from epic high fantasy to small-town whodunnits. No matter the themes or tone, I try to make every story unique. Sometimes this means tweaking a module to get a better fit, sometimes this means writing a whole new story - and sometimes it means setting the tale in my own homebrewed world of Ilian. Anyone who is willing to collaborate with, listen to, and respect their fellow players is welcome at my table. Whether our story is fun and goofy or dark and spooky, everyone should feel safe and comfortable with it and each other.

Randall did an exceptional job, skillfully managing a larger group of players who were not previously acquainted. He crafted a captivating story set in a robust homebrew high magic world, filled with multiple paths and directions for the party to explore. Randall's use of voices brought characters to life, adding depth and immersion to our session. His strong understanding of game mechanics ensured smooth gameplay and kept the adventure engaging. Overall, Randall's expertise and creativity made for an enjoyable 4 hours. Looking forward to next week's game.
I never get to play high-level games, but I tell you this is the guy. I really like high-level magic games and this is the one. He is able to adapt very easily. I played my first game, it was okay. The next ones after that they were amazing. Suppose you like high-level games- overpowered character creations, this is your man
I've played in a few of Randall's games now, and every single time, I have been impressed with his GMing. When he says his style is "Yes, and", he really means it, and consistently rolls with whatever his players throw at him - but he never lets the bits get out of hand or truly unreasonable, which I think is just masterful. His table is extremely fun to play at, always feels like a safe space, and he fosters such a great (and immersive!) atmosphere and environment. Extremely talented, equally friendly, and clearly excited to run games, Randall is a 10/10 GM and I HIGHLY recommend playing at his table, even if just for a one shot here and there!
