About the adventure

Create a hero to take the battle to the enemy: an Elf Ranger, a Tiefling Rogue, a Dwarf Cleric, a Human Wizard or maybe a Dragonborn Paladin. Arm yourself and join the fight! In this online campaign, you will save your world from the Darkest Timeline, and travel to strange new worlds: Sigil, Eberron, Ravenloft, Krynn, and Greyhawk! The adventure will take a party of heroes from 1st to 20th level!

Knows the Rules
Scott is a fantastic GM - he's consistent, creative, and flexible - if there's not a rule for something, he generates one on the spot, explains it, then documents it if we're going to use it moving forward. Scott keeps the game moving, but also provides breaks as needed throughout the game - if it sounds like I'm a fan... I am!
I was new to Fantasy Grounds and came into the campaign about halfway through. I love the patience that Scott has shown so far in my sessions for Rime of the Frostmaiden. He sets a tone of inviting and engaging everyone—a lot to be said of the group, as they are friendly and inviting :). Look forward to more sessions and adventures. ♥
UPDATED 5/1/2022 Am now in 3 of Scott’s campaigns and appreciate the amount of effort he puts into each session. Have tried other platforms including other Tabletop Board game replacements and missed Scott’s style and Fantasy Grounds every time. So if you are unsure or a complete newbie then Scott and his campaigns are perfectly suit to give you space to learn. But for the more experienced D&D players Scott keeps you on your toes and you will enjoy his campaigns too. 😁 Original review: As a complete newbie to playing D&D myself, Scott was helpful and patient as we added our character to Fantasy Grounds in session 0. Then we started the campaign and met up with a group of thieving goblins. He was patient and made the experience great. Am looking forward to continuing this campaign and seeing how many characters I will need. 😎
If I had the option to select all of the tags I would. I've played 5 sessions now with Scott on a campaign and he has been nothing short of exceptional. From assisting those unfamiliar with Fantasy Grounds to creating an environment where both new players can learn and experienced players can flourish, Scott is a consumate professional.
Scott was patient, attentive and really ensured everyone was involved. I have had multiple sessions, on separate campaigns and Scott not only made it fun, inspired a bit of camaraderie in the whole group but also manages to help beginners like me while not slowing down gameplay/experience for the more experienced players. I absolutely recommend trying any of the sessions, even if they start late in the campaign - he seamlessly integrates new players with style, or humour, or humorous style!. Very excited for the future sessions.
Character creation
Creating your character
Players may participate in a free 'Session 0' for character generation. Characters can be created in D&D Beyond, but we will work together to transfer their details to Fantasy Grounds. Player options will be restricted to the 2024 Player's Handbook * No Unearthed Arcana content
Now recruiting for Level 7. The current party is a Half-elf Rogue, a Dragonborn Barbarian and an Eladrin Wizard. What do you want to play?
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need profiles for Discord and Fantasy Grounds (basic access for both is free). No experience with D&D, Fantasy Grounds, or Discord required. Reach out if you're not sure how to get started!
What Scott N brings to the table
DM is a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (players join and use FGU for free). By joining the campaign in Fantasy Grounds, you will get access to all of the content you need.
Homebrew rules
I stick to the rules as written, rather than make you learn house rules--but if you want to *bend* the rules, describe something cool and cinematic, and it just might work!

How Scott N creates a safe table
Players will participate in Session 0, and review Lines & Veils. The Digital Deck of Player Safety will be part of this process. In addition, I have a Fantasy Grounds extension that allows users to anonymously submit requests to signal discomfort with subject matter (X, N & O's).
