About the adventure
The Necropolis is a one session, dungeon-crawl style mystery adventure set in The Valley of the Kings in the 1924. This scenario is intended for beginners and experienced players alike and can be completed in 2 to 3 hours. "November 26th, 1924. You have been working tirelessly with shovel, spade, and trowel in the Egyptian Valley of Kings. The sun beats down upon you as you carefully unveil the facade of an ancient structure cut deep into a cliff face, buried by the sands of several millennia. Your party of contracted laborers works like busy ants and soon a doorway is uncovered. You stand proudly at the top of thirteen steps that descend to an entryway covered by a large stone slab." My GM style centers on character interaction, storytelling, and atmosphere. This scenario is a mystery but uses a dungeon-crawl style format that allows for action and exploration. Combat in Call of Cthulhu can be quite deadly, and the rules use a deliberately elastic, narrative-style approach to action sequences.

How to prepare
We will be using Roll20 for the game and my Discord server for audio. Webcams are not required. No prior experience with Call of Cthulhu is needed. Pre-generated characters will be provided. "All things are ready if our minds be so."
What I provide
Character voices, custom-made Roll20 modules, maps, handouts, visuals, character tokens, sound effects, music, and various witticisms. I stick to the offical 7th edition Call of Cthulhu rules as much as possible with occasional improvision.
Gameplay details
We will do a quick ice breaker and character introduction before the game begins. There will be one 10 to 15 minute break. Call of Cthulhu is a dark horror/mystery style TTRPG with themes of the supernatural and cosmic horror. Players should be cautioned that you may experience character death and/or insanity.
