About me
Hey there! I've been playing in and running campaigns since 2006 and to this day I still am. My starting games were extremely supportive and a fantastic learning experience so I want to ensure to pass on that legacy. Aside from being a local cryptid, I'm an artist who enjoys drawing out new and wild ideas, sewing, and stuffing my face into some obscure 1800's book. I'm a really down to earth and laidback individual who loves running and playing TTRPG's. I'll be running only fully custom original stories and settings either in D&D 5e, Risus, Kids on Bikes/Kids on Brooms, and Ghostbusters RPG settings with my own Homebrew twist on the systems. I want TTRPG's to be something that anyone of all ages and disabilities will be able to enjoy who are new and old to the scene. All of my games are LGBTQIA+ friendly, and beginner friendly. I include disability representation, as well as plenty of representation across the gender spectrum and the neurodivergent spectrum. Let's sit together and get a character sheet fleshed out! I can't wait to see what stories we'll make together.

Storytelling
Awesome DM, super creative and very flexible when it comes to players and what they would like to implement. Makes amazing sandbox worlds where it feels alive and responsive. Literally lets the players create their own stories and helps move them all along, no matter what the players decide to do.
Sylvester is a fantastic GM who, not only gives inclusion of just about anything, but if it's something that doesn't work, they'll work with you to sort out something that will. Extremely communication driven, and very upfront and honest. Would highly recommend this GM to any player, new or experienced.
I just had my first ever DnD game GM'd by Sylvester! I was a bit trepidatious as I knew next to nothing coming into the game; however they quickly laid my anxieties to rest. As a new player I was guided through the rules and basics of the game with patience, empathy, and a great attitude. Sylvester utilizes various tools to make the game more accessible and takes their inclusivity and culture of safety very seriously. I would also like to note that in addition to having a true passion for and encyclopedic knowledge of DnD, Sylvester also creates beautiful art for their tokens. I would recommend Sylvester to any player, experienced or brand new, looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and fun GM with a patience and passion that knows no bounds.
Sylvester was my first real jump into D&D. I've always wanted to play, but struggled to find a good group. He's helpful and very patient with new players who are learning their way around the game. His worlds and characters are beautifully written, and tons of fun to interact with!
Character creation
Creating your character
At the start of the campaign you will grab a pre-made character you'll be playing as for the duration of the campaign out of a randomized stack of sheets. It'll be randomized, but every character is balanced with their pros and cons to make the session fun, and also a learning experience for everyone. No need to worry about knowing Kids On Bikes or Kids On Brooms, I can give you a quick rundown of how it's played before we dig in!
New-Player Friendly A fully homebrewed campaign Premade characters There's multiple endings and paths the players can go down so the game is different every time it's played.

How Sylvester The Mothman ( PatchyPines ) creates a safe table
For every player, I will be sending a fill-out consent form that goes over any possible triggers and disabilities such a reading/math comprehension problems, situations where a player were to go non-verbal, prevention of over-stimulation, and if I should include more bio/bathroom breaks so I can cater the campaign to ensure it's a safe, and fun experience for the whole party to enjoy. Before session starts, I'll go over everything and any possible triggers to ensure everyone is equally up to speed on respecting the boundaries and comfort of the party and an overview of what will be in the session. After the campaign is over, I'll touch base to see how you're doing to make sure the situation in this campaign didn't cause any lingering thoughts or unintentional harm.
