About the adventure
“Earth, air, water and fire rise up against the people of the lands of Faldorn, holding sway over many through fear, lies, or the promise of power, and drawing them into their cults. Your heroes, cast adrift from their home, find themselves in a world on the brink of disaster, where kings and temples are too wrapped up in their own petty politics to see the impending doom sweeping towards them. If anyone is to uncover the secrets behind the wrath of the elements, it must be you! But it will not be easy! Mad cults, greedy dragons, devious devils and furious elementals all stand between you and the salvation of these lands.” This is a playtest of my upcoming level 1-15 adventure, complete with Foundry VTT module! The module offers a range of possible group concept, including Isekai, and I will be discussing this with all potential players to align with peoples preferences. I am keen to test the campaign when played from the perspective of a group who mostly come from 21st century earth. Content details: This module is inspired by the Temple of Elemental Evil, Final Fantasy 1, Classic mythology and Princes of the Apocalypse. It features a horde of new antagonists from the elemental cults to challenge players of every level, each with their own art and custom tokens from ourselves and Caeora, and each extensively programed in Foundry VTT, with tons of automation and animated effects from JB2A. Every adventure comes with custom maps, many of them animated including Cze-Peku and bespoke animated maps created specifically for the adventure in RPG Scenery! The adventure features: An adventure for characters from level 1-15, with a possible extension to 20. 60 new monsters, all with their own top-down token artwork from HUMAN artists. Many of these will have multiple versions. This includes some from Caeroa but the majority will be original. The adventure features 4 fiendish and diametrically opposed enemy factions full of unique NPC’s some are enemies to be defeated, many which have not only a great deal of nuance but also potentially can be befriended and saved. Over 100 Battlemaps from: RPG Scenery, Cze-Peku and Dungeon Alchemist. 30+ pieces of original NPC art. Music from Tabletop audio.

About me
Hi! I am GM Dargov, also known as Rob. Like a lot of GMs on the site, I have had an enormous passion for role-playing games and D&D in particular for... a very long time! My first experience of D&D was picking up the Rules Cyclopedia in a small bookstore in rural Canada- I don't even know what edition that was! As a GM, I run my game very much straight down the middle. They remain challenging without become too deadly, and while my rule calling is fairly generous, this applies to both players and monsters. I allow a free feat at character creation of 5e and use free archetype in Pathfinder 2e. This gives me the freedom to run some extra "deadly" battles, but gives the players that little bit of extra omph. I am very hot on game balance- on my Discord server you'll find a few tweaks to classes and subclasses that I feel slipped through the net, such as Twlight Clerics, Moon Druids(early game) and Echo Knights. I am venturing into the world of publishing my own adventures, and my Monday night game is the playtest for my soon to be released adventure module, Wrath of the Elements! I started GMing on SPG just over a year ago now, and I run 4 games each weekand have run over 300 paid games! That's a lot of dice rolls!

Creating your character
Create a character of 1st level on D&D Beyond. My campaign has access to all the official material. You may use point buy or roll with rules I explain on my discord server. I allow potions to be quaffed as a bonus action. Flanking is used and reduces AC by 2. I use updated rules for several subclasses, to prevent later additions to the subclass fold from invalidating earlier material. These are primarily buffs, not nerfs. Further details and rules clarifications are available on my Discord Server.
Party is made up of a Moon Druid, an Artificer/Warlock and a Valor Bard.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A good attitude :) We use discord voice communication and no camera. You should have some idea of the D&D 5e rules for this campaign. We use foundry VTT with extensive mods- you should let me know if there are any spells you intend on using regularly, I will add animations for them.
What Robert brings to the table
I bring 20 years of experience to the table. I am pretty firm but fair. My foundry VTT setup is well established at this point but I am continually working on improving the experience and level of automation. I have an extensive collection of maps and art for use in my games, including a library of 100's of animated maps.

How Robert creates a safe table
This campaign is RP heavy- there is a focus on more than one way to deal with any problem. I continually adjust difficulty on the fly according to the tastes of the group. Character death occasionally happens in my campaigns, but I talk this over with players- if you want a more deadly campaign then I will provide it, if you want your character to come back, then we will find a creative way to handle this.
