About the adventure

On the world of Remnant, the training grounds of Shade Academy in Vacuo forge Hunters capable of standing against the monstrous Grimm. For generations, humanity has relied on Aura, Semblances, Dust, and skill to survive. But the sands of Vacuo now churn with a threat unlike anything recorded in the Kingdoms’ archives. Reports speak of creatures formed from viscous black shadow, their bodies veined with crimson fractures that pulse like exposed nerves. They move with purpose. They strategize. They communicate. And worst of all—they are completely unaffected by Aura, shrugging off blows that would have shattered any Grimm. The faculty have designated these anomalies as Demonites, but the name offers no answers. Ruins show signs of conflict before the creatures ever appeared. Dust behaves erratically around them. Semblances fail or twist unpredictably in their presence. Something is fundamentally wrong. Whispers ripple through Shade’s halls as Students asked the question off Are they Grimm that have somehow evolved? Something born from Dust corruption? A weapon from Atlas gone rogue? The truth is far more terrifying. These things are not children of Remnant at all—they are intruders from another reality entirely. A universe overflowing with super heroes, cosmic entities, mutantkind, advanced alien empires, and powers capable of tearing worlds apart or stitching them back together. The Demonites are only scouts. Probes. Testing Remnant’s defenses. Because somewhere beyond the stars—and beyond the dimensional veil—forces within THE MARVEL UNIVERSE have taken notice of Remnant. Some come as conquerors. Some as refugees. Some as heroes seeking allies. Others as opportunists hungry for a world whose rules they do not yet understand. Soon, Huntsmen and Huntresses will find themselves confronting mysteries and enemies no Academy ever prepared them for. And the lines between magic, science, Aura, and super-power will blur as worlds collide. The Multiverse is opening. Remnant stands on the brink. And the Marvel Universe is stepping through. 💥Battle it Out in Isometric Map like an actual Miniatures Tactical Tabletop Game 💥Full Access to my Marvel Multiverse Compendium in Roll20 and DemiPlane 💥 Players begin their Heroic Storyline at Rank 1 and will Level Up as the Arc Progresses 📜 Personalized story arcs which will tie into the main story of this campaign or your hero backstory 📜 Very heavy comic book inspired drama, its not all about fighting the villain of the week but also delve deep into the characters backstory

About me

Hello there, adventures new and old! Since you're browsing and looking for a game to join, let me tell you a bit about myself first and foremost. I have been into fantasy ever since I was a young lad, be it literature, games, or art. I am also an avid video gamer, pc gamer and have played old RPG game from the early 80s to now. But there is nothing more I enjoyed most but playing roleplaying games with friends and strangers on the table. That was the time I had my first contact with the Tabletop RPG genre, I fell in love with it. I could not only enjoy adventures and worlds made by others by then, and now I could make my own and shared my stories with others. I started with a lot of other RPGs and became a DM at 18. More than twenty years later, I have been the DM in a plethora of campaigns and events. I've played with and hosted in my hometown and city with huge number of friends and strangers in houses, gaming stores, events, conventions, and gaming clubs. I take real care when introducing people to the hobby as everyone's first time should be special so they can love the hobby as much as I do. My main goal is to have fun games where my players can feel comfortable and become invested in the world I created and the players can journey in. Nothing makes me feel happier in RPGs than listening to my players enthusiastically recount the tales we have created together and then coming back for more. As they say, the degree of success for a session or campaign is judged by how long after the players talk about it. As far as paid DMing is concerned, it is my firm belief that a professional DM is expected to have high standards in his attitude towards the game and the players. And you can expect as such from me. If all the above got your attention, I hope I will see you in one of my games!

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters start out at Rank 1 or 2 depending on the Campaign. This is to be done in Roll20 by using the Renegade Studious Character Sheet. There are pre-made characters available for all players. If a player wishes to make their own character they can contact me before the game session to discuss character creation.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The only things a player needs for this game is a microphone. A webcam is optional. Getting familiar with Discord for audio and Roll20 for maps is beneficial but not necessary. However roll20 to be tested is highly recommended for dice rolling, improved maps and the visual showcase. If a player has access to the Pathfinder 2e rules to go over it will help them quickly pick up the game.

What Roll20Dad brings to the table

Bringing the roll20 adventure and ruleset and character sheets. Also providing pre-made Characters with Portraits. Bringing heavy VTT maps and visual handouts for the players to use as well. A fully realized cast of non-player characters as well as teaching how to role play to layers if desired. Will also be incorporating not only just Theater of the mind to use the awesome imagination that everyone has to have a unique entertaining experience better then any provided story/movie can but also giving players fully immersive isometric and topdown maps when interacting with NPCs as the world comes alive. MARVEL MULTIVERSE is an easy and fun RPG to get into, and i will be teaching the game rules in an easy to understand fun manner. Will also provide a background atmospheric soundtrack for the Adventures. Overall bringing great amounts of fun and entertainment first, evoking a sense of wonder as is possible.

Safety

How Roll20Dad creates a safe table

The setting where sometimes contemporary situations are encountered in an imaginary setting. Most topics will be kept to PG levels with combat descriptions mainly only getting to R levels. Do bring this up with me as we can talk about it in Voice Chat, I am a pleasant guy.
