Vecna: A World of Ruin 1-20 Campaign
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
This adventure takes place on the Sword Coast. Take on sinister cults, worshippers of evil gods, and those who had no other choice. Learn about the darker side of the sword coast and leave the Gnoll hunting to the daytime adventurers. Search the streets of Waterdeep, delve into the secrets of Candlekeep, take up arms to defend Neverwinter, and possibly travel the realms making allies to forgo a prophecy that even the gods fear. The notorious lich Vecna is weaving a ritual to eliminate good, obliterate the gods, and subjugate all worlds. To stop Vecna before he remakes the universe, the heroes work with three of the multiverse’s most famous archmages, travel to far-flung locales, and rebuild the legendary Rod of Seven Parts. Vecna: Eve of Ruin is a high-stakes Dungeons & Dragons adventure in which the fate of the multiverse hangs in the balance. The heroes begin in the Forgotten Realms and travel to Planescape, Spelljammer, Eberron, Ravenloft, Dragonlance, and Greyhawk as they race to save existence from obliteration.
Currently Level 7. Party Composition is Beast Master Ranger, Genie Warlock, HB Monk, Enchanter Wizard, Echo Knight Fighter. The world is slowly falling apart. Rumors of Waterdeep's destruction has begun to spread. Dragonspear Castle has become a Haven of protection for those living south of Waterdeep. A Dragon made of Bone has been seen flying across Faerun. Churches have been closing their doors in cities everywhere. You had a premonition of a group of people. They seemed like heroes. However, that dream-like vision ended in two ways. In one they all perished. In the other, you were there to make the difference. Looking to play Heavy Roleplay. I have been in The Final Boss Game for some time now and enjoying it so much. The world creation is fantastic. Games have a steady pacing and no matter what seem to throw in the way to cause trouble he is just on top of it. Character creation was a blast i i got to put some personal spins on my character that don't necessarily follow the Handbook but added a big point in character flavor. You know what you are getting into from Day 1 with a session 0 and I personally have never felt more at ease in a game focusing on HAVING FUN and playing my character! If i could rate a 10 star i would. Also only allows to select 3 tags for you DM description but i would have selected all of them if it allowed me to.
Fantastic DM. He has a natural gift for storytelling, and he uses that gift to make everyone in the party feel like they're part of the world and like their stories matter. He's also very on top of things with respect to preparation in Roll20 - it makes for a seamless and fun experience, and I look forward to many more games together.
First and foremost, Final Boss is a really kind and genuine person, who is really interested in the player's enjoyment and their fun, and he has good ethos around empowering players. I have also never had a DM that controlled the pace of the game so well, we get so much done every session. Boss strikes a very good balance of treating the game prep and time with professionalism and commitment, but making the session feel like we're all just pals gaming.
