In this game, I'll be running the Tales from the Yawning Portal, which I've previously run as backup campaigns when players missed sessions. Some of the adventures will be my first run of the material. Most players in this game have completed Forgotten on the Isle of Mnemos. A new Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign was started and finished. The group just completed the Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan with their LMoP characters after their near defeat by LMoP's BBEG, the Dread Spider, who threw them into a dungeon containing the Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan to reap whatever treasures they might find. However, the dice had a natural 20 from a huge Dwarf in store for their second meeting, and Nezznar, the Dread Spider, along with his drow snipers, are now but paste upon the Underdark substrate! Boh'Ro, the Gnome Cleric, Neurik, the Duergar Rune Knight, and Xyrros, the Wood Elf Ranger have now emerged at an empty safe house of the Dread Spider's network in Leilon, with their bags burdened by treasures. The city of Leilon now sees the wagons of Gundren Rockseeker's copper, nickel, and silver ore trades, though what has happened to Wave Echo Cave after the party's defeat and what lies in store for them in Leilon? * Group & Military Discounts (contact me) * Premium maps and Token Art. * DM with 1000s of hours as a Pro GM running this adventure. * One-shots when more than 50% of members miss a session.

Homebrew rules
Scrolls: Using a spell scroll is an Arcana check: use 10 + spell level − your max spell level if it’s on your list, otherwise use 10 + 2×spell level − your caster level. The action required to use a spell scroll is the action required to cast the spell or 1 action, whichever is less. Potions of Healing: • Bonus Action (in combat): Roll the potion’s healing dice. • Action or Out of Combat: Take the potion’s maximum healing value. Cleaving: If a melee attack drops a creature to 0 HP and you dealt excess damage, you may apply the leftover damage to another target in reach that the original attack roll would have hit. Flanking: You gain +2 to melee attack rolls if: • An ally is directly opposite you on the target, or • You have three or more allies adjacent to the same enemy.

Safety
How GM AP creates a safe table
Game will be kept in the neighborhood of PG & PG-13. Each session begins with an opportunity to state or discuss Session 0 topics. Players are free to pause the game (Open Door). Each hour of gameplay has a 5 minute break that anyone can call (Breaks). Debriefing will be used as necessary when players are struggling, and each session ends with Stars and Wishes. I avoid sensitive topics and describe combat encounters in comic detail. Ex: "the barbarian casts divide goblins with his wand of battle axing as they cleave from left goblin to right goblin turning 2 into 4" or "as the goblin is hit with your repelling blast, it explodes into shrapnel that strikes the goblin behind it." I also treat every session as a session 0, so if you're surprised, new, or have new ideas, you're encouraged to share them at the start of each session and to speak up if anything, technical, emotional, or otherwise, needs to be addressed during the game.
