Character creation is a crucial part of our grand adventure, both before and during our Session 0. As we delve into the captivating world of the Myhtshadow, let's explore some key details to ensure your character's journey is as professional and adventurous as it can be: Setting: Our epic tale unfolds in the rich and storied realm of Mythshadow, a land brimming with untold mysteries and wondrous encounters. D&D Beyond: To streamline character creation, approved players will receive an exclusive link before Session 0. This link will grant you access to import or craft your characters using D&D Beyond using the digital assets provided by the DM. Starting Level: Your journey commences at Level 1, a humble beginning in a world teeming with potential and peril. Ending Level: By the time our adventure reaches its climax, your characters will have grown to a respectable Level 4. Reflecting their evolution throughout the campaign. D&D Materials: We draw from the wealth of officially published materials by Wizards of the Coast (Wotc), ensuring that you have a wide array of options and resources to shape your character's destiny. Ability Scores: Characters will be built using the Standard Array, offering a fair and balanced foundation for your adventures. Feats: The allure of feats is available to you, allowing you to add unique abilities and depth to your character as they progress. Equipment: You'll start your journey with the standard equipment suitable for your character's class and background, ensuring a proper foundation for your hero's epic tale. However, magical items are limited and are only obtained through adventuring. Magic Shops and Venders have be outlawed. Homebrew: We will not be utilizing homebrew content when it comes to player characters. This ensures a consistent and balanced experience for all players. Third Party Material: Should you have any aspirations to include third-party materials in your character concept, these will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Subject to DM approval. Written Backstory/Character Details: Your character's persona will come to life through a comprehensive backstory. Details such as hometown, age, family, race, class, background, and more will be skillfully crafted on a shared Google Document. This document becomes a crucial vessel for character development and storytelling throughout our adventure.

Episodic Adventure: Tale of the Fallen Star is the first Act of a five Act campaign in the realm of Mythshadow. This adventure will consist of approximately 12 sessions that will take the player characters from level 1 through level 4. Session 0: This session is more than character creation; it's about integration into the overarching narrative and meeting your fellow adventurers. We'll focus on character backstories and address house rules and game preferences. A Google Survey will be shared to allow players to provide their own input about the game. Lines and Veils: Your well-being and comfort are paramount. A Google Survey will be provided to allow players to anonymously discuss their boundaries and preferences, ensuring that sensitive topics are treated with care. Character Backstory Template: You'll receive a Google Document Template for your character's backstory. This shared document will facilitate communication between us, allowing for collaborative character development that enriches the campaign's narrative. Stars and Wishes: After each session, we'll have a post-session discussion where you can express what you enjoyed and what you're looking forward to. Your feedback will help shape the campaign and ensure your expectations are met.
