About me
Hey! I've been playing D&D almost my whole life and I've been running the game as a DM since 2016. My longest running full campaign went for just almost three years! I'm currently running Curse of Strahd, Waterdeep Dragon Heist and Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and a homebrewed epic levels campaign. I love the challenges that come with being a DM and all the different characters I get to play! I have a broad range of voices I can use to "change" NPCs (and a voice modulator for those ranges I can't reach). I run my games on FoundryVTT with animated attacks and spells and intergrations from D&D Beyond. I have a soundboard that my players get to customize and use soundscapes to enhance the experience! I mave a Master Level Subscription, allowing me to share with my players all the resources I've purchased there. The quickest way to reach me is through Discord! Creating your character
Characters will be created at level 1 for the beginning of the campaign, or to match party level of joining later. We'll use D&D Beyond and shared resources then import your Characters into Foundry VTT. Character creation will take place before the 1st session of play. Players should use HeroForge to make a representative of their mini.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord, a computer meeting the minimum requirements of Foundry VTT, and a microphone are all required to play. A fast internet connection will be beneficial. Players will create their characters using the standard array or point buy. Players will not need physical dice, pencils, paper, printouts, physical minis, or to purchase any software, books, or hardware assuming you met FoundryVTT minimum requirements.
What Kaos-DM brings to the table
The DM will work with you in a one-on-one session to create your dice and introduce you to the mechanics of Foundry. By joining this campaign, you will be given access to ALL content on D&D Beyond, current and future, through the DM's Master level subscription. The DM will be creating highly detailed maps using Inkarnate or using maps and assets from Seafoot Games as appropriate. The DM will use voice acting and voice modulation for NPCs and soudscapes, sound tracks, and sound effects for tone setting. The server you will be joining on Discord has 60fps HD video streaming for when it is necessary, 128kbps audio, custom emojis, custom stickers, custom soundboard drops, Avrae integration, and a common space to chat with other D&D players.

How Kaos-DM creates a safe table
Players can expect political intruge and chases in Dragon Heist. The laws in Waterdeep are tough and crimes can be punsihed severely. There is a high chance of player characters being tried for crimes witnessed and punished according to the laws of Waterdeep. Some crimes carry a punishment of death. The DM will provide a list of laws for Waterdeep and the consequences of breaking said laws.
