About the adventure

About the adventure The Odyssey of the Dragon Lords" is an epic Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in a world inspired by Greek mythology. Players embark on a heroic journey filled with mythical beasts, ancient prophecies, and divine intervention. As heroes chosen by the gods, they'll face off against powerful foes, unravel mysteries of the past, and ultimately decide the fate of the world. With rich storytelling, diverse cultures, and epic quests, "The Odyssey of the Dragon Lords" promises an unforgettable adventure in a mythic realm unlike any other Additional Details Voting for overall difficulty and preferences to give a tailored experience. Game difficulty and aspects of play (including safety) will be set by the players at session 0 and then can be altered during each major plot point of the game. This way the game is tailored for players preferences. How to prepare Players need a working mic and access to a computer. The game will be held over discord and roll20, so you will need an account on both. You will need to provide your full Discord name and numbers. Players will need to make their character sheet ahead of time in roll20 or dndbeyond. If dndbeyond, they will need to have the chrome extension beyond20. What I provide I will be providing a discord server, a roll20 room that we will be playing in, soundscapes, some animated maps, extension materials and resources for a fun experience for all! We may soon move to Foundry VTT to get access to great maps. Gameplay details This game contains safety tools. Players in unison will determine what is on and off the table. About me

I'm all about fun times and engaging story and role play. I've got tons of experience running games live and on roll 20. My idea is the immerse my players in a great experience were they select the level of difficulty where we go through many of the TSR and WOC adventures or at times home brew or heavily modified games so there is still surprises in old favourites like Curse of Strahd and Tomb of Annihilation. My games are challenging to a level chosen by my players, that's right you vote on it and can change difficulty at each major play point of the game (or in old words on each of the 3 acts in a story) level of realism, difficulty, role play v combat and politics, exploration and consequence are selected at game 0 and every new paying player will add their own preference to the overall mix. This way the game is customized for the team and at each major plot point the players can vote again to increase or decrease settings so you not locked in for the whole campaign. I usually have players select 27 points buy and start at first level and in that way people can easy into getting to know each other. Most of my games I ask people to select from any published race or class but until we get to be comfortable as a team I ask all players to be good or neutral. The objective is to have fun. Of course there may be times people come into conflict due to situation, views or spell but these are worked through. At our session I will also ask if you have any triggers and to let me know what they are especially if a realism setting is high and we are dealing with a horror type campaign. My ask. All I ask of my players is respect fro each other and me as the GM, allow others to have their time in the lime light (if they want it), learn not to talk over each others and talk to me if there are any issues. I have played 5E for some time and know most of the rules but there will be time I might rely on players knowledge or check it out on the net. The main thing is the DM is the arbiter and has final say. I also expect everyone to act like an adult (unless I am running a kid friendly game) and not use the game as avenue to hurt others or justify terrible behaviour or discrimination. I have puchased a lot of the roll 20 materials so you should have access to lots of characters classes, races and backgrounds. Note I am also happy to work with you to customise your class and character. I am on a Sydney timeline so works well usually with Asian and US based players. That said if your awake I can run the game.

Character creation

Creating your character

Level 15 max, created in roll 20 but you can use D&D beyond links. We use rolled stats everyone rolls once and we all vote who’s are the best to take. If all are bad use 27 points buy or rolling depending on customised overall level table. Players can be any race or published class from my materials on roll 20 and must start the game either good or neutral aligned. Players will be sent a discord friends request after the DM gets their full discord name and then added to the team chat for a trail game.. Silvery barbs and lucky feat banned as we use inspiration.

The current party
