About the adventure
Start your own Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Adventure Path! Individual players welcome. No experience necessary. When the Blood War, between devils and demons, reaches the mortal world, it is the mortals who will suffer. Create a hero to take the battle to the enemy: an Elf Ranger, a Tiefling Rogue, a Dwarf Cleric, a Human Wizard or maybe a Dragonborn Paladin. Arm yourself and join the fight! In this online campaign, you will march against the armies of the the Abyss and the Nine Hells! The adventure will take a party of heroes through all Nine Hells to get to 20th level!

About me
Join a campaign with one of the top-rated Game Masters on StartPlaying! I specialize in running official Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. I love introducing the game to new players, so if you're unsure of the rules, or new to online role playing games, give one of my games a try! I've run games for players from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, including volunteering as a DM with kids and young adults with autism. Creating your character
Players are not required to have a character ready for campaign launch. We will be creating new characters in the first half of our 'Session 0', and then get right into game play! If you are joining after campaign launch, we will set up a one-on-one call, to get you ready for your first session. Characters can be created in D&D Beyond, but we will work together to transfer their details to Fantasy Grounds. Player options will be restricted to the 2014 Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. * No Unearthed Arcana content

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need profiles for Discord and Fantasy Grounds (basic access for both is free). No experience with D&D, Fantasy Grounds, or Discord required. Reach out if you're not sure how to get started!
What Scott N brings to the table
DM is a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (players join and use FGU for free). By joining the campaign in Fantasy Grounds, you will get access to all of the content you need.
Homebrew rules
I stick to the rules as written, rather than make you learn house rules--but if you want to *bend* the rules, describe something cool and cinematic, and it just might work!

Players will participate in Session 0, and review Lines & Veils. The Digital Deck of Player Safety will be part of this process. In addition, I have a Fantasy Grounds extension that allows users to anonymously submit requests to signal discomfort with subject matter (X, N & O's).
