About the adventure

Forge your fate in Hellfire! A Hellish Adventure for Levels 4-13 [Chains of Asmodeus to follow if the party would like to go to 20] Elturel is a city-state lying on the River Chionthar in the Western Heartlands. it is the center for agriculture and trade in the region, and is renown for its elite mounted defenders, the Hellriders. Elturel is the capital of the realm of Elturgard, a theocracy of Torm the True and defended by its paladin knighthood, the Order of the Companion. Elturel and Elturgard as a whole are ruled by the High Observer of Torm, a priest named Thavius Kreeg. Aided by the Order of the Companion. The High Observer made certain that order was maintained in the city and the realm, with the aim of bringing righteous judgment to all the Realms and "setting Faerûn aright". As in the past, they ensured the city and countryside remained safe and well-policed and that trade and agriculture were run efficiently. It is believed that Thavius has ruled wisely and well for decades, yet he presided over harsh and rigid laws, intolerant attitudes, and inquisitions. Baldur's Gate, the Halfway to Everywhere, the City of Blood, also simply called the Gate, is one of the largest metropolis and city-state on the Sword Coast, within the greater Western Heartlands. It is a crowded city of commerce and opportunity, and one of the most prosperous and influential merchant cities on the western coast of Faerûn. Despite its long-standing presence as a neutral power, the leaders of Baldur's Gate are members of the Lords' Alliance of powers in the west. The strong peace-keeping force known as the Watch, along with the presence of the powerful Flaming Fists mercenary company, kept the city generally peaceful and safe. This inherent sense of security allowed the Gate to keep a tolerant and welcoming attitude towards outsiders, whether they were wealthy merchants, poor refugees or, as it historically attracted, less-scrupulous individuals such as pirates and smug Descent into Avernus, a dark and twisted adventure that takes the party to hell itself. Lots of twists, turns, deals and journeying across the hellscape in infernal war machines! Mad Max meets D&D fantasy in Avernus! Are you from Elturel, Baldur's Gate, or beyond? Create a character in which you can think of a detailed backstory and roleplay to your hearts content. Join me as we tell our story of what happened in Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus. Here's what to expect: - Deep immersions thanks to music, dynamic lighting, and unique maps. - A multifaceted campaign (there will be dark themes, funny moments and everything in between!) that will keep players on their toes, with plenty of twists, shocks and difficult decisions to be made and infernal war machines to ride! -Plenty of opportunities for roleplay -Different voices for many of the NPC's -Creative combat, with plenty of chances to take the direct approach or to try the indirect approach to success.

About me

Hello my name is Brandon, I have 20+ years experience from D&D 3.5, 4th, and 5th Edition. I use 5th edition with Roll 20, Discord, and D&D Beyond. I mostly enjoy running campaigns, building on character development, and creating a custom experience for the players. I enjoy creating a custom character arc for your character. The more details you provide in your backstory the more I will be able to create a custom adventure for you. I have assets on D&D Beyond I can share for character creation. I have premium maps on Roll 20. I use greenbot to set the scene with music.
