About the adventure
Long ago the natural way that Lunar and Solar Exalted complemented each other was considered the most beautiful thing in Creation. Such great friendships and romances blossomed that it fundamentally changed the world. That was before the end of the first age, that was before the Solars were removed from the world and the Lunars driven to the fringes of it. The wedge driven between these former allies comes from the scars of tyranny inflicted by the Solars, and the centuries that separate them. Despite this, in the modern day a new hope rises. The Solars have returned to the world, powerful and resplendent, and The Realm is turning it's armies inwards, removing their pressure on the Lunars' lands. In this age of strife their is freedom and power to grab, and who better to grab it than the once perfect pairing, the Solar and Lunar Exalted? By coming together once more, perhaps these two former allies may rebuild the beauty of love and friendship they once had. Maybe they can right old wrongs, and in doing so set the world straight. If they can just unite, even a small number, they may be able to save Creation and its people. Reunions and Toil is a Solar and Lunar Exalted 3rd Ed game where players may make either Solar or Lunar characters to adventure within the wide world of Creation!

About me
Hello, my name is Oscar and I am a game designer and active GM! I hope to GM a wide variety of games for an equally wide variety of people so that I can experience more perspectives on TTRPG's. I like the strange and the niche and want to bring unique TTRPG experiences to life! I've been a GM since 2017 and in that time I have run a number of different types of game. From galaxy spanning space adventures to gritty and cruel low fantasy I can run a variety of different tones and settings. I tend towards more combat but I am just as happy to run more story and role-play focused games. I'm not overly attached to any one system, and if I don't already know it I'm happy to learn it. I've actively run Exalted, Lancer, Crowns, Five Torches Deep, and Shadow of the Demon Lord as well as familiarized myself with Eclipse Phase, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4e, Chronicles of Darkness, Pathfinder 2e, and Cyberpunk RED

Creating your character
Players will make characters together during session 0, and any late joining players will have a private session 0 with the GM. Premade characters will be subject to review by the GM.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a working microphone, computer with internet, a discord account, a forge-vtt.com account, and have read at least character creation of either Solars in the Core Book or Lunars in Fangs at the Gate.

How Oscar C. creates a safe table
This game will use a session 0 to set player expectations, make characters, and discuss safety tools. This game also uses X,N,O cards for player safety during game. X cards stop the game if content that players are uncomfortable with comes up, N cards are used when a player feels content that could lead to an X card is coming, and O cards are used to check in on a player if you feel content may have upset them. This game uses the Lines and veils safety tools. Lines are content that players do not want in the game at all. Veils are content that players only want hinted at. The default lines and veils at this table are No Sexual Assault, No Racism, No Homophobia, No Misogyny. This game will have a 10 minute break if it goes beyond the 2 hour mark. This game also has an open door policy, so players are free to leave for any reason if they need to.
