About me

I enjoy franchises such as Lord of the Rings and Star wars and I have picked up the hobby of getting involved in D&D such as a player and a DM. I became a DM because I really enjoy the game of D&D and my friends around didn't know how to play so I did what most people would do. I started to DM for them so they can enjoy the world building and story telling that this game has to offer. I am still learning the game, so please bear with me if I make mistakes.

Character creation

Creating your character

Pick a race, and class to start out with. We will role for stats in session 0. The lowest number that I will take is 10 unless expressed otherwise. If you can use D&D beyond that's great, if not then we can write it down in a custom sheet. For the backstory for this campaign, your PC will need to have met a traveling adventurer who was a Wizard named Henry O'Collins. Everyone's PC would have been given a letter from a royal courier from the city of Trillus informing you of his death. The way of travel is up to the PC but the courier would offer for them to travel back with them.

The current party

Looking to run games late nights. This is a game where all of your choice matter. It is a living breathing world. There is an ancient dragon cult that has been stretching it's tentacles through the land to raise god-like dragons from the grave to take their revenge from centuries past. Will you be able to stop them or will the world fall to ruin.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Webcam is preferred to be able to act out things if words don't make sense. A mic is a must. If anyone needs help making their characters or backstory I don't have a problem helping them out. Any other question please don't hesitate to ask.

What Derekus brings to the table

I will bring custom maps and tokens to the game. I try to make voices the best I can. I am open to homebrew rules and ideas. I do have two kids and a full time job but I do make an effort to have as many sessions as I can.
