About the adventure

Let’s go to Hell!! This one picks up right after the fall of holy city of Elturel. Baldur’s Gate is behind you, while Avernus lies ahead. Welcome to the first layer of the nine hells: Endless war. Burning skies. Bad deals. •Zariel’s waiting. She’s got a big sword and bigger problems •Drive soul-fueled war machines across a battlefield that never ends •Nothing in Hell is free. The devils lie. The land moves. Every choice leaves a scar •New players welcome. We’ll run a full Session Zero to get you set and in deep This is the kind of game where choices break you or make you. Let’s find out which... [[Beginner & LGBTQIA2S+ Friendly]] ------------------------------------------- 📣See what Erin has to say about my GM'ing: "Leland is a fantastic DM. They're enthusiastic about every game they run and clearly want every single one of their players to enjoy their time with him and experience a successful campaign. I initially played Monster of the Week with him as a way to dip back into playing with a group and eventually played (and am currently playing in) my first DnD campaign with Leland as DM. He's patient and encourages questions and all the silliness that comes with role-playing games. You genuinely couldn't ask for a better DM!"

About me

Hey everyone, it's me, Leland, aka Leopold the Just in most social media spaces! I’ve been deeply invested in tabletop RPGs since the start of the millennium, & I still love every second of every game I run or play. Aside from that, some of my other interests include going to music events, board gaming, playing strategy & RPG video games, camping, traveling, eating delicious food, learning more about science & art, getting tattoos, going to aquariums & museums, & much, much more. As a GM, my storytelling focus is on strange events, haunted & horrific places, emotional buy-in & consequences during roleplay, & NPCs you won’t forget. I run everything from cozy slice-of-life games to bleak horror, sometimes both in the same session. If you love group storytelling & want to play in an immersive world that feels alive, then I’m the right GM for you. --- What to expect at my table & in my community: • Sessions with a strong narrative focus on character development • Action-packed, descriptive combat that keeps you on the edge of your seat • A living world where NPCs react & evolve based on your choices • Shared storytelling that includes everyone, with collaborative worldbuilding that lets you leave your mark • A chill, inclusive space where everyone is welcome & every identity is valued • Exclusive $5 community one-shots for active members, bringing players from across tables together for fresh stories & shared adventures • Regular community events: video/board game nights, video watch-parties, & a live Kenku FM radio station for downtime between sessions So go ahead & pull up a virtual seat. Let’s tell some stories together!

Safety

How Leland House Jr. creates a safe table

I'll have everyone submit lines/veils/interests via DMs, then I will distribute a pdf document for the other players to have on hand or have it as a handout in the VTT of choice. Then we'll go over them during session 0, along with making characters and doing some collaborative storytelling to establish relationships between said characters. I typically post a custom agenda the day before session 0 begins.
