About me
A writer, poet, and anthropologist, I love to introduce new players to the fantastical worlds I grew up in and love even more building new worlds with players of all experience levels (including no experience!) Creating your character
Character creation will be handled through the D&D Beyond website. Players should wait until Session 0 to create them. Any official content is allowed. Homebrew content beyond "flavor" changes (for instance, playing a homebrewed race that is mechanically identical but visually different to official content) must be approved by all players at the table. For players joining after Session 0, I will work with them over Discord to get their character created, catch them up to speed on the story, cover safety tools, discuss table rules and expectations, and hype them up for a fun time!

The main cast includes an autognome Lunar Sorcerer/Paladin, a half-elf Life Domain Cleric/Lore Bard, and a mapach Scribe Wizard.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need voice chat capabilities and internet access, along with both a free Discord account (https://discordapp.com) and a free D&D Beyond account (https://www.dndbeyond.com). Video chat is optional. A basic understanding of the rules and what your character will be able to do is recommended, though not necessary.
What Gerald brings to the table
I will be bringing a fun, exciting gametime to you, every other Saturday, full of thrills, chills, and quite possibly spills. Additionally, I bring with me a gaming community full of great weirdos. My Discord channel is full of fun people who love gaming in all its forms and fun conversations take place daily. We also frequently run free Community Events to bring new experiences to the table!

How Gerald creates a safe table
Players can expect fast-paced combat and tense dialogue scenes. Combat scenes will have the potential for non-combat resolutions. Not all of the content warning tags will necessarily be part of the campaign; however, the potential for a D&D game to explore subject matter beyond what is written in the module itself and beyond what I have detailed as potential content warnings is extremely high and it is important to know this going in. It is my every intention to make a fun, safe place for players to enjoy themselves, and will take steps to shut down content that is against the player's wishes.
