About the adventure
Start your own Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Adventure Path! Individual players welcome. No experience necessary. The Dragon Queen has risen. The Storm Giant King is dead. Demon Lords control the Underdark. An Arch-Devil rules over the city of Baldur's Gate. The Frostmaiden has frozen the North. Vecna rules over all and the fate of the multiverse hangs in the balance! Create a hero to take the battle to the enemy: an Elf Ranger, a Tiefling Rogue, a Dwarf Cleric, a Human Wizard or maybe a Dragonborn Paladin. Arm yourself and join the fight! In this online campaign, you will save your world from the Darkest Timeline, and travel to strange new worlds: Sigil, Eberron, Ravenloft, Krynn, and Greyhawk! The adventure will take a party of heroes from 1st to 20th level!

Join a campaign with one of the top-rated Game Masters on StartPlaying! I specialize in running official Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. I love introducing the game to new players, so if you're unsure of the rules, or new to online role playing games, give one of my games a try! I've run games for players from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, including volunteering as a DM with kids and young adults with autism. Creating your character
Players are not required to have a character ready for campaign launch. We will be creating new characters in the first half of our 'Session 0', and then get right into game play! If you are joining after campaign launch, we will set up a one-on-one call, to get you ready for your first session. Characters can be created in D&D Beyond, but we will work together to transfer their details to Fantasy Grounds. Player options will be restricted to the 2024 Player's Handbook, Heroes of Faerun and Arcana Unleashed. * No Unearthed Arcana content

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need profiles for Discord and Fantasy Grounds (basic access for both is free). No experience with D&D, Fantasy Grounds, or Discord required. Reach out if you're not sure how to get started!
What Scott N brings to the table
DM is a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (players join and use FGU for free). By joining the campaign in Fantasy Grounds, you will get access to all of the content you need.
Homebrew rules
I stick to the rules as written, rather than make you learn house rules--but if you want to *bend* the rules, describe something cool and cinematic, and it just might work!

How Scott N creates a safe table
Players will participate in Session 0, and review Lines & Veils. The Digital Deck of Player Safety will be part of this process. In addition, I have a Fantasy Grounds extension that allows users to anonymously submit requests to signal discomfort with subject matter (X, N & O's).
