About the adventure
The International Monster Paranormal Service (IMPS) was once the world's best hope against the supernatural. That was until a disastrous mission in France unleashed the Voidmouth, an interdimensional rift that shattered the agency and scattered its members. Now, as strange happenings are on the rise, a small team of rogue agents must step up to face the unnatural threats. You'll travel across America, from small towns with big secrets to cities plagued by phantom terrors, investigating weirdness and trying to prevent disaster before it’s too late. Each town presents its own unique challenges and a different monster to hunt. Set in the modern day, this game focuses on solving mysteries and collaborative storytelling, balancing supernatural horror, humor, and character development. The Monster of the Week system is easy to learn and puts veterans and brand-new players on equal footing as they dive into the adventure. You’ll create a unique character with special abilities who will have a chance to shine each week! Get ready to hit the road as part of the team that bravely faces the unknown to protect people and uncover the truth that’s out there.

About me
I have over ten years of experience performing with improv on stage and have been playing and running TTRPGs since middle school. I have a deep and abiding love for improv and collective story making as well as game design, voice acting, and sharing the joy my geeky passions. I welcome players of all experience and love teaching new folks how to play. In my games, you’ll meet multidimensional NPCS with distinct voices and a world that changes in response to your character’s actions. Your backstory will be woven into the narrative as I customize the adventure to suit the characters’ journey. In classic campaigns, you will get the best of a time-tested module while experiencing a story that is uniquely your own. As a GM, I present the characters with difficult challenges while cheering on the players. You will join in a “writers’ room” style of play with collaborative lore building as well as delve into dramatic scenes where we play to find out what happens. I lean on the dice decide our fate so we can all be surprised by where the story takes us.

Creating your character
Prior to your first game, you'll build a character in Roll20. The prompts and menus are easy to navigate and offer room for your unique personalization. We will work together on your backstory and weave it into the game world. Depending on how and where you enter the story, we may also create character bonds to connect your character to the team immediately.
The current team consists of... - A Chosen or an Action Scientist - A Searcher or a Host - A Spellslinger Join the team! Beginners Welcome!

How Dungeoneer80 creates a safe table
Prior to the joining the game We discuss lines and veils. I review what boundaries are currently in play at the table and go over any questions or concerns you may have. I facilitate communication with the Monte Cook consent checklist. During each game I utilize the following tools: - Open Door policy: Players can leave whenever they need to for self-care, including bio-breaks. - Breaks: For every hour or two of play, we will take a five-to-ten minute break. - X, N, and O Cards: To play an X-card during the game, players can ask the group to hold up, type a capital X in the chat, or direct message me on Discord. I will do my best to adjust the game to make the table as safe and fun as possible. After each Game I end each game with Stars and Wishes. Each player is encouraged to offer Stars (things they loved about the session) and Wishes (things they would like to see in the future). I am always happy to hear stars and I do appreciate heartfelt and honest feedback in wishes.
