About the adventure
It is winter in Middle Earth, which means the Rangers of the North have returned to the Ranger Haven to spend the coldest months. Winter is typically a time of rest and recuperation, rekindling friendships, and the sharing of information. Not to mention a few extra ales for Yuletide. But just because the Rangers rest does not mean that the Shadow sleeps. Something creeps too close to the Haven, and when one wounded Ranger returns to the Haven on death's door, his brethren will go to work. --- This is a winter-themed oneshot that focuses on the often hard and unforgiving lives of the Rangers of the North in Middle Earth, utilizing The One Ring 2nd Ed. system. It will focus on camaraderie, survival, and hope in the face of hardship and danger. No prior knowledge of the TOR system nor the lore of Tolkien is necessary; an adventurous spirit is all that is required.
This oneshot will take place several times during the winter season. Each session is the same oneshot, so players should only plan to attend one date.

This was a really good game, I really enjoyed the lore and the system. We played The One Ring 2e and it was really easy to understand with the way Anduriel explained it. The custom written module was fantastic. I can't stress that enough. One shots should have an intro, a ramp, a climax, and a good ending that feels satisfying. Great voices, great music, great game. I highly recommend Anduriel for your TOR 2e and I'm sure they'd kick as in any other system.

I had a lot of fun with Anduriel's TOR Yule one shot. As my first time with the system and not being used to foundry, he was very helpful. I absolutely loved getting involved in a snowball fight and blaming it on the ranger.

Everything, quite literally - from the get go, Anduriel went through the rules and character sheets and answered any questions we all had!! Even when I had technical difficulties or wanted to double check things, they were super patient and understanding! They also made the table feel very inclusive and inviting which made some great RP and he really draws you in with the way the story is narrated! The encouraging environment allowed us to do creative things in both RP and Combat! Everyone got to have their moments!! I had so much fun playing the one shot and the Fellowship I played with were amazing too!! So much fun the entire time, I couldn't stop smiling throughout!!

Anduriel was the first person I've play The One Ring with, and made it super easy to pick up the system and engage with both the world and scenario presented. They kept us moving, but not rushed, and allowed some really fun roleplaying interactions. Absolutely would recommend.

How to prepare
- A free Discord account is required for voice chat and additional communication. - Join my Discord channel and read the Rules and Safety channel: https://discord.gg/9sjuXwKP - A working microphone is required. A working video camera is recommended for more immersive roleplay but not required. - A Foundry link will be provided the day before the session. Foundry is free for players and works in-browser.
What I provide
A fully integrated Foundry VTT module for The One Ring 2nd Ed with items, character sheets/tokens, maps, etc. Access to all of the published TOR2 content currently available. Immersive music and ambiance provided via Syrinscape. Unique NPCs, immersive battle sequences, and rich descriptions of the world.
Gameplay details
This oneshot will likely deal with darker themes as is canon-typical for Tolkien. Any violence, death, etc. will not be gratuitous. Since this is a oneshot, we will spend the first 10-20 minutes of the game choosing characters and discussing any potential triggering content we wish to avoid. Please also feel free to private message me before or during the game with any questions, themes, triggers, or anything else you may want me to know. Know that if you PM me during the game, I might not see it immediately, but I will do my best to respond/adjust quickly. I also always employ the Open Door policy and will regularly check in for breaks.

How will character creation work
I will have 6 pregenerated Ranger characters ready to go in Foundry VTT upon the game starting. In the first 10 or so minutes of the session we will choose characters and make adjustments as desired. If players can take a look at the character sheets the day before the session and choose 2-3 preferences, that would be helpful. If players would prefer to make your own character from scratch, please do so before the game starts and we can input them into Foundry during character assignments at game start.
