About the adventure

>>Current target start date is Nov. 22<< Once upon a time, magic ruled the world. Now, it’s under new management. The radiant towers of Solara blaze across Fantazia’s borders, promising perfection, enlightenment, and progress. Behind the sunlit facades, however, the realm is tightly controlled by The Continuum, a relentless force that seeks to rewrite stories, erase legends, and replace wonder with order. Fairy rings are paved over. Spellbooks are shelved for software. Wishes are stamped, filed, and forgotten. But not everyone is ready to let the story end. You are the heroes who refuse to fade: knights without kings, witches without covens, rogues who still believe in impossible things. Recruited—or conscripted—by Fairytale, Inc., you navigate the thin line between rebellion and survival, magic and machinery. Every quest uncovers a new secret, every ally might be a spy, and every victory carries a cost The Continuum doesn’t want you to see. The future is coming for Fantazia—but it will have to fight for it. Forge your legend. Challenge the rewrite. And remind the world that not all stories can be automated. Fairytale, Inc. — a Daggerheart adventure of rebellion, wonder, and the fight for magic’s last breath. About me

I've been playing various forms of role-playing games formally for more than 2 decades, including online, written, table top, and more, while informally, I've been playing and performing roles all my life. I love creating and sharing stories, all the more so when the players truly become part of the world by surprising me with their choices. Professionally, I have a background in history and am a recently-recovering educator, and I bring both to the gaming table by helping players learn the game and developing unique and non-standard worlds and stories while using a teach-as-we-go method for new players.

Character creation

Creating your character

Players will work with the Gamemaster to create a character consistent with the themes of the campaign. This will occur shortly after the player registers for the game so that the character is ready to join at the next opportunity.

The current party

~~ LEVEL 13 ~~ After a horrific attack on the local harvest festival, the team is in pursuit of a villainous group using terrifying items to give them astounding powers. In order to draw them out, you must find the truth of an ancient artifact with the power to rip the world apart. Before setting out on your adventure, new players will work with the DM to build their characters and develop their entry into the game. It is recommended that players register at least 3 hours before game time.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players should have, at minimum, a working mic, a Demiplane account, and a system capable of running Roll20. We will use Discord as a backup as well as for out-of-character / downtime discussions.

What Delphi brings to the table

I have 7 years experience in education and teaching, which I use to help new players understand the game in a way that is fun and exciting. I also bring a variety of adventures, making each session different and exciting, and offering players the opportunity to grow their characters through a single or multi-session tutorial.

Homebrew rules

We will not be using any homebrew in this game, though players may have access to some Playtest/Void features.
