About the adventure

"In the north western edge of what was once New York, vault 229 opened up and spread its people upon the banks of the Erie in the region just south of a place they called, The Burns. The red, cackling pit of radiation and death that seems to flood the region with terrible beasts. Against all odds their people flourished, spreading into the ruins of old Buffalo and building new Settlements, farming the choked land and fishing the irradiated waters. But war never changes. The Settlers of the Buffalo Ruins found themselves at the point where three great societies meet, and they all wanted what had been built. To the north in the area that had once been Ontario was the TAH, a tribal faction of religious zealots. From the east coast came the wealthy and academic Ivy League and out of the ruins of Detroit, the huge medieval Kingdom of Lo'gan. Their small shuffles and disputes have only grown since the people of the Burns have begun taking sides in this fledgling conflict. And with a scouts discovery of nuclear armaments within the region. It is only a matter of time before fire spreads along the Burns" This post-apocalyptic adventure in the Fallout setting is a fight to survive in a land parched and ragged. It is a battle for the ideals of the future, a way forward and the way to prosperity. It is about biting cold, vicious warmongers, old feuds and complicated truths. About me

Hey there! I'm Lucas and I've been running games since 2012 when I ran my first D&D 3.5e game. It was hilarious and clunky but I fell in love with it. Since then I have expanded my repertoire of games with Traveller, 4th and 5th editions of D&D, Savage Worlds, Masks, Call of Cthulhu and many more. I'm a DM local to Monterey Bay and I run games with an emphasis on role-play and character interaction. I'm a former improv comedian and I love getting to roll with my players and dive into what makes their characters tick. I run games online or in person, so I hope you join me and we can tell some amazing stories together!"

Safety
How Lucas creates a safe table

I will be creating a Lines and Veils document that everyone is free to add to. I will talk about what a Lines and Veils document is during session 0. We will have regular breaks every hour during game, to quickly check in and/or to take restroom breaks. I have an open door policy with messages, if you are ever uncomfortable or need help during a game you can message me and I will work to resolve the issue as quickly as I can. Player safety and comfort is my priority.
