Blood Bound, an Urban Curse of Strahd |She is the Ancient

In his "Blood Bound" campaign, Jayden takes an adaptation of Strahd and Ravenloft to the next level by bringing it into a modern, more urban setting. As if "Blade Runner" took a detour into Stephen King territory, Jayden's cyberpunk world gets a gothic horror paint job (mostly red) that reminds players they are not going to have an easy time fighting the system and the remixed Strahd pulling the strings.

Jayden runs games in some of the most fleshed out and immersive worlds I've ever had the privilege to play in, or even see played in. He is a master of creating a dark and foreboding tone while allowing players space to create levity for contrast. One of my most frequent experiences in his games (besides "uh oh, something's coming") is the nervous almost giggly energy of the party when we know, we *know* doom is approaching. His tables have been without fail, no questions asked no conflict about it, safe and trusting spaces for every player at the table. It is always beyond a shadow of a doubt clear that it is the PCs who are in danger, which can be heightened to terrifying and incredible effect when the Players know we're safe. 11/10 would recommend to anyone.

Jayden blends meticulous world building with player freedom that makes all of his games feel truly open and explorable. He pays close attention to PCs needs/wants and ties backstory into the campaign narrative. You are always the main character when playing at Jay's table.

Jayden can take a small amount of you character and weave it in such a way that can make you feel a part of any world they create. They are an awesome DM and an even better person, you are safe with them and can expect to have an amazing DMing experience.

Didn't know what to expect but was blown away by the professionalism and very coherant process in which he makes us acclimate to his play style.

This session was wonderful from start to finish. Jay knows how to make players feel comfortable and builds such an immersive, interesting world to explore. I cannot recommend playing with him enough.
