Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi gang :) I am an east coast DM and have DMed for many of my friends in the New York City area as well as run games online. I have a lot of campaign notes posted on YouTube. I have a background in horror screenwriting and film production. Being a New Yorker, I have run games for all sorts of players from new to veterans. I love working with new people, value fairness and I am here to help everyone at the table have a good time. My games are 5E RAW and RAI although I have very few homebrew preferences. I posted them on my YouTube channel listed below. Games are based in settings like the Forgotten Realms. I have been told my games are challenging but fun and death is rare but possible. My games are heavy on exploration, fighting, problem solving and storytelling with role play laced throughout. Creativity is rewarded. Look forward to meeting everyone. “Good luck storming the castle!” — Miracle Max

The darkness is recent. The residents call it the Everlasting Rime. You have heard of people that have travelled north to Icewind Dale to live in isolation apart from most of civilized world. Usually the type of people that don't want to be found. The Game The game will not start until 3 people have joined. Unfortunately I don’t have time to build custom races Session Rules Everyone gains Inspiration at the start of each session To skip a session, use the “Skip Session” option on StartPlaying — it will notify me automatically Loot Distribution: Each player rolls a d100; highest roll picks first, then choices go one by one until all items are taken or split evenly. How Drakeen creates a safe table
The Dos and Don'ts of Server Etiquette: How to Play Nice and Have Fun Remember that these rules apply everywhere on the server, from text channels to voice calls to the game itself. No place is safe if you're misbehaving. But don't worry - as long as you're playing by the rules, you should have nothing to fear. Just keep it clean and have fun especially for the kiddos in game and out! Spoiler alert. Here are the rules. 1. Don't be a bully, unless you want to get beat up by the virtual equivalent of the school principal. Trust me you don't want to meet the principal. 2. Keep politics and religion out of the game, unless you enjoy stirring up trouble like a troll under a bridge, well even if you like stirring up trouble like a troll and this includes all types of trolls including internet trolls. In short, no trolling unless playing one in game. If that's the case I'm sorry for you. Trolls are yucky. 3. Be courteous to others, or risk being banished to the land of the forgotten. Actually it's less a risk and more than like a guaranty as rude people generally have a low charisma and fail their saving throw when banished. 4. The staff's word is law and generally RAW, but feel free to speak up if you think they're wrong - just be prepared for the consequences [insert ominous music here]. 5. This is a welcoming community, so don't be a jerk and ruin it for everyone else. We're all here to have fun, not to judge each other based on our differences. 6. No cheating by using out-of-game knowledge, unless you want to be called out faster than a wizard casting a fireball or have your wizards fireball come back to hit you. 7. Keep the romance PG-13, or else you might find yourself in the middle of a love triangle with a timeout and a warning. So no explicit content, no erotic role play and if you think it may not be appropriate don't post it. 8. Malicious behavior will not be tolerated, so keep your mean streak in check or risk a one-way ticket to the dungeon. 9. Politics are a no-go in public chat, so take your heated debates elsewhere or risk a showdown with the moderators. 10. Leave the PvP at the door - we're all in this together, so don't be that guy who ruins the game for everyone else. 11. Follow the rules or face the consequences, from a gentle warning to an outright ban. Three strikes and you're out - don't say we didn't warn you. 12. The rules might change, so stay up-to-date or risk getting left behind like a level one adventurer in a dragon's lair.
