About the adventure
In the mystical realm of Bronzebeak, the echoes of past failures have returned to haunt the present, plunging the world into chaos. An ancient prophecy speaks of a time when darkness would rise, and only a group of heroes with knowledge of forgotten lore can save the realm from impending doom. As the heroes of this campaign, your destiny is intertwined with the fate of Bronzebeak, and the weight of history rests on your shoulders. The heroes are not just adventurers; they are the guardians of history, tasked with preventing the return of a darkness that once nearly consumed their world. With a rich tapestry of lore, immersive world-building, and challenging encounters, this campaign promises an epic journey where the heroes' knowledge and actions will shape the destiny of Bronzebeak, ensuring that the failures of the past do not become the undoing of the present. Plot: Centuries ago, a great calamity befell Bronzebeak when a powerful and malevolent being known as the Shadowbound sought to engulf the world in darkness. The people of Bronzebeak rallied together to defeat the Shadowbound, but at a great cost. In their desperation, they sealed the Shadowbound away using a powerful ritual, sacrificing much of their own magical knowledge in the process. Now, a cult of fanatical individuals has unearthed ancient scrolls and relics, attempting to resurrect the Shadowbound and plunge Bronzebeak into darkness once more. Unbeknownst to them, the ritual they seek to complete requires the knowledge that was sacrificed by their ancestors. Only the heroes, who possess this forgotten lore, can hope to thwart their sinister plans.

Creating your character
Feel free to come to session 0 with a character you already have, some ideas for a character, or no ideas at all. All official DnD content is fair game. Any unofficial or homebrew content is acceptable as long as I approve it, so if you have something in mind don't be afraid to ask! Backstories are an important part of my games! To take the pressure off of writing a backstory my go to rule is this: you can give me no backstory, a couple of sentences, or 10 pages, but whatever information you don't give me is free rein for me to make up for your character. We will go over my backstory "rule" in more depth during our session 0.
We play every Tuesday at 6 p.m. *no session on Tuesday the 31st due to Halloween*
What to expect
Preparing for the session
In our game we will use discord for audio and Owlbear Rodeo for maps, so access to a computer and internet is necessary. You will also need a mic wether its an external mic, headphones, or a mic already on your computer or phone. We will also use D&D beyond for character sheets. if you would rather use a physical character sheet that is fine as long as you can send me a picture of it so I can see everyones character sheet! The final and most important thing you will need is a readiness to have fun!!!
What Alexander brings to the table
In our game I will use virtual maps of my creation, as well as wacky voices (I say wacky because I am not a voice actor, but i do my best), and music for atmosphere. In the discord I will also post lore documents, art, and npc written notes. None of those type of attachments I drop in the discord are required to play, they are just there to add more depth to the world and the story.

How Alexander creates a safe table
Setting: Bronzebeak is a realm steeped in rich history, where the ruins of once-mighty civilizations dot the landscape. It is a world of magic and mystery, where arcane secrets and ancient relics hold the key to power. The realm is characterized by diverse landscapes, from sprawling enchanted forests and towering mountain ranges to hidden underground cities and treacherous swamps. Each corner of Bronzebeak is teeming with both wonder and peril. Session 0: This first session will happen before we dig into the campaign. Our session 0 will take about the length of a normal play session. During this time we will create characters, discuss expectations at the table (albeit virtual), talk about how sessions will be run, and go over safety tools. If we have anytime left in the session we can jump into the story.
