About the adventure
...At the far end of nowhere at all, there’s a large patch of land surrounded by dead, dry plains plagued by unending dust storms that hide a dark secret. From inside the storms, you can hear the yelping of ravenous wolves and coyotes, you can smell the sulfuric gunpowder stench of a thousand spent bullets, can nearly taste the blood in the air. And if you stare long enough into that maelstrom of heat and dirt, you can start to hear the whispers of all the damned souls who wandered into that valley and never came out. Join us for a full redesign of the classic Curse of Strahd module with unique twists, immersive roleplay, and a thrilling new setting. This campaign will explore tension and horror, mysteries and moral conundrums, and what it means to be heroes in a hopeless world.

Creating your character
Character creation will take place in Session 0 with all players starting at level 1. Human-adjacent races only (or reasonable human-adjacent reskins of official races), all official classes, subclasses, and backgrounds are acceptable. Come with a flexible concept but be ready to adapt to accommodate group dynamics.
