Evil is lurking in the beloved town of Phandalin, and you and your party are the only ones who can stop it. Solve mysteries and stamp out growing corruption as you uncover more about the malevolent cult that are plaguing the town. Fear not: with your trusty sword and friends by your side, you’ve got everything you need to shine a light through the darkness. Levels 1-12. Players new and old are welcome at my table, so pull up a chair and let the adventure begin.

About me
I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 1994. I started with 2nd ED AD&D after I starting reading Dragonlance and fell in love. I still remember getting my first starter set with orangey/red dragon on it, and I have been hooked ever since. I have played many editions since then (skipping 4th I was caught up in WoW at the time). 5E is my favorite edition as it is easy to teach new players and I enjoy running it. I love teaching the game to new and returning players alike. Some people like lots of roleplay, while others like lots of combat and tactics. I like there to be a balance between the two, as well as a good story to go along with. I am no voice actor, but I do my best on character voices. The players need to have fun first and foremost. Without the players, a DM/GM might as well write a book.

Creating your character
All characters need to be level 1 and will be created on dndbeyond in the campaign link provided. You may roll your stats using the dndbeyond stat rolling method. All player races are allowed, and yes I do allow flying races. Anything that is not from one of the official Dungeons and Dragons books needs to be approved by me. I use Tasha's, Xanathar's, SCAG, and Monster's of the Multiverse. If there is another book you would like to see, PM me and we can talk about it.
Level 11 and the characters are currently making their to defeat the final boss.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a mic and a free discord account for voice and text chat. You will need a free Dndbeyond account for character creation and to access the campaign. Finally you will need to install the browser addon AboveVTT. AboveVTT place a Virtual Table Top feature in Dndbeyond.
What Justin brings to the table
I will bring the adventure for your characters to embark on. I do try and do voices for NPCs. I am not a professional voice actor, but I try my hardest. I also have maps on the VTT and other visuals that I will place in game chat as well.

How Justin creates a safe table
I have a Lines and Veils channel in my Discord, please feel free to post them there, or feel free to PM me. Session 0 we will discuss Lines and Veils, go over expectations from DM and players standpoints, and go over any character creation that is needed, especially if you are a new player. I also go over AboveVTT for those who are not familiar with using it.
