About the adventure
The castle atop Hellknight Hill, Citadel Altaerein, has stood abandoned for years in eastern Isger—a legacy left behind by the Hellknight Order of the Nail that’s largely ignored these days by the populace of the nearby town of Breachill. But when strange signal fires begin to burn atop the citadel’s battlements, a local goblin and friend of Breachill’s citizens begins to worry, for her tribe, the Bumblebrashers, live within the castle. She fears the fires are distress signals, and hopes to attend Breachill’s monthly Call for Heroes to ask for help from a band of local adventurers. As fate would have it, this call for aid comes to your group of heroes, and as a mysterious doom draws near, who could have predicted that such an act of local heroism would eventually lead to the unmasking of one of the most insidious and dangerous conspiracies of the Age of Lost Omens? Dive into the Adventure Path that launched Pathfinder second edition. New players and veteran players alike are welcome to hop in and uncover the story of Citadel Altaerein and the secrets the Hellknights left behind. This is a fresh game starting at Level 1, so if you get in at Session 0/1 you will get the entire experience! All ages are welcome to join. Just be warned, this is a dangerous adventure path, so it will take all of your wits to survive.

I've been doing this for a long time(25+ years), and adore collaborative storytelling in various fanciful settings. Never have stuck to just one system. I like to play them all, and run most. Creating your character
Characters will be housed on my dedicated foundry server. You can create them in Pathbuilder (Android APP or web browser) and export them to me or we can build as a group in session 0 whatever you are comfortable with. Any Rare or Uncommon options need to be approved with backstory reasons.
The party has just finished helping the elves of the Mwangi Jungle, and are back at their Citadel before opening the Dreamgate portal. Now is a great time to jump in as Book 3 is just starting!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need Discord, a microphone, a headset or speakers, and a stable internet connection to access the Foundry server. All dice will be rolled in Foundry, with customization options loaded in. The foundry server will house all characters and information. No advanced knowledge of the rules is necessary, but a cursory glance to familiarize yourself is recommended.

How Mike, a RandomNerd creates a safe table
To play you will need a microphone, headphones or speakers, an internet connection, and a Discord account. There will be session 0 where we can build characters and discuss the game and expectations as a whole. You will be given a link to the discord server and asked to fill out the Consent Checklist prior to session 0(or your first session if joining late)
