About me
I have been a DM/GM for many years. I have overseen games with new players and experienced players and I love them all. Each player brings a unique experience and I love seeing the different paths that can occur within the same campaign. My main goal is for the players to enjoy themselves. Come join me and together we can discover the new paths different campaigns can take us.

Creating your character
Characters will start at level 1. Please use point buy. Character sheets should be inputted into Roll20. If you need help creating a character, I can help you. Please make your character before session 0, but in session 0 we can discuss and refine characters as needed so there isn't an overlap. You may draw from any official books to make your character. No Slimefolk. I have had players express discomfort in the past over Slimefolk. Anything unusual or homebrew, please ask me first.
It is Winter in Waterdeep and rumors are spreading about a great, hidden treasure. Come Join us for the Waterdeep Heist. We would love to have you and I am excited to start this campaign with you. We play on Roll20 and do voice chat over discord.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This is for voice. If you would like to use a webcam, I don't have an issue with that, but it's not necessary. I won't be using my webcam. You will need a mic. We will be playing on roll20 so you can make a free account there if you don't already have one. Rolling the dice, creating a character sheet, can all be done there. The only thing you will need is to prepare an image of your character to use as an Avatar when your characters move around the maps. There are free AI art websites out there now where you can generate an image of your character. Or if you would like to send me a description of your character, I can generate one for you for no additional cost.
What Chandelle brings to the table
Everything will be done on roll20 so I will prepare the maps on there as well as any handouts you may need along the way. I do provide ambient music. I do like to use the Rule of Cool when it is needed.
Homebrew rules
We can discuss any homebrew rules in session 0. I usually like to have flanking as a +2 bonus, but if the players don't want it, we don't need to do it.

How Chandelle creates a safe table
Will send a list of my guidelines as well as discuss in Session 0. Anything the player doesn't want or is wary of can be brought up in Session 0 or messaged to me privately and I can bring it up with the group later keeping it anonymous. Lines and Veils can be discussed in private beforehand. There will be X, N, & O's available in game, but players can also private message me during the game if they prefer. We will take breaks if breaks are needed and have a discussion afterwards to make sure everyone is okay and the best way to move forward to minimize the chances of a player being uncomfortable in the future.
