About the adventure
For years you have toiled for an unkind master, but no more! You and your party have broken free of the chains of Thralldom and set sail from Staldorn's shores to far-off lands to explore kingdoms, peoples and cultures never known to your forefathers. Alongside your companions, your party, in this campaign you will decide your own destinies and your fates, whether you choose to become great warriors, build bridges of knowledge or aid in conquering opposed lands is your decision to make! ᛋ ᛏ ᚨ ᛚ ᛞ ᛟ ᚱ ᚾ ᛚ ᚨ ᚾ ᛞ ᛟ ᚠ ᛏ ᚺ ᛖ ᚹ ᛁ ᚲ ᛁ ᚾ ᚷ ᛋ In this campaign you will: 🌍 Travel to lands both familiar and unfamiliar to the Viking world, with countries resembling Ancient Greece, Edo-Period Japan, the Golden age of India and more. 📖 Determine your own narrative for your character and the party in a sandbox world filled with adventure and meaningful agency and choice. 🐲 Battle monsters, huge and small, both man and monstrosity, on land and on water 🔥 Develop your characters story arc with goals, flaws, wants and needs to create your own narrative you will remember for a lifetime. ᛋ ᛏ ᚨ ᛚ ᛞ ᛟ ᚱ ᚾ ᛚ ᚨ ᚾ ᛞ ᛟ ᚠ ᛏ ᚺ ᛖ ᚹ ᛁ ᚲ ᛁ ᚾ ᚷ ᛋ The Staldorn setting is one that I have developed and built upon with immense input from players over the course of five years. It is complete with in-depth lore, powerful homebrew monsters to face off against and engaging Homebrew rules meant to make you truly FEEL like a warrior of the Viking age, while also mixing in that epic D&D Fantasy. I would love to have you join me in this world and contribute to this half-decade spanning experiment!

About me
Hey all, Scott here! I'm a Game Master from Australia, and I’ve been running TTRPGs for longer than I care to admit. With a background in film and a lifelong love of storytelling, I’m passionate about crafting cinematic, character-driven adventures full of laughter, tension, and maybe a few tears. I specialize in sandbox-style campaigns where player choice drives the world. Expect freedom, consequence, and stories that grow naturally from your characters’ actions. Add a few silly voices, some epic music, and heartfelt moments, and you’ve got the kind of table I love to run. When I'm not running games on Startplaying or for my own group of friends, I like playing video games, exercising, and doom scrolling on my phone. My favorite video game series is a tie between The Legend of Zelda and God of War (The soundtracks of which you will become very familiar with if you join any of my games). I love listening to music and spending a night with friends. I hope to see you at one of my tables!
