About the adventure
The Hæth is a land of endless possibility, between vast stretches of land and sea, are communities of animal folk, living life and sharing in the wonder. Flocks of buggy creatures also share in the bounty of the land, from bumbles, to beetles, to moths delivering letters by moonlight. And although the war was recent and not forgotten, a widespread culture of hospitality and kindness fills the hearts of many. the lonely conquerors of the past will remain as such. Journey is out there just waiting for you to dive in, and stories are waiting to be found. come join us for another adventure and see what lies ahead. Are you interested in learning a game without any Dice? would you like to explore what creating conflict without the need for violence looks like? Do stories that pull on your heart strings draw you in? Wanderhome is a game about the journey, many stories might lay within but grand adventures and heroic tales are not what we will focus on here. Instead we look at the Journey and what we make of it with our companions. Together we will explore the land and all its beauty and as we play, we will build our own Hæthland, adding to its breadth and depth every time we open the book. This game is a monthly recurring one shot that consists of a 3-4 hour session. *Not a campaign* but you are welcome to bring returning characters

About me
Welcome travelers, My name is Daisy and if you are looking for a fun tabletop experience I am here to help! I have been playing tabletop role playing games for about 8 years and GMing for most of it! Starting with roots in dungeons and dragons I have since branched off into a love for story focused games and systems. Think of systems like Monster of the week and Masks that use the Powered by the Apocalypse engine, or games like Beam Saber and Songs for the Dusk both of which are forged in the dark systems. I also have a deep love for indie games that allow us to think outside of the bounds of usual play. I often enjoy utilizing collaborative systems such as "I'm sorry, did you say street magic?" and "Follow" as breaks from the usual gameplay to give us another view of the story and allow players to add to the world in different ways. I’m always looking for fun new games to bring and happy to test out any you may want to bring!

Creating your character
Character creation is encompassed in actual play, the images we create while building our characters are just as important to your characters story as what you play out in the "game proper." there will be also ne some pre-generated characters ready either as examples for you to build from or for ease of entry into play.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
what you'll need - a stable internet connection - a quiet place - an okay microphone, so we can hear you - access to a computer - access to discord recommended but not essential - pen and paper (or some other note taking tool) if you want physical notes - a webcam is helpful but not required come prepared with a creative mind and desire to work as a group to tell stories and discover the little wonders of the land of Hæth. you can bring some character ideas with you if you are familiar with the game and mechanics, but there is no need to have any prior background into how the game is played. some knowledge of the theme and tone would be helpful. this is not a game for you if you want violence or lots of direct PC combatants.

Safety
How Daisy Mae creates a safe table
By default we will utilize the Journeying tools provided in the wanderhome book. I love these tools as they encompass many popular safety tool techniques while wrapping them all up within the mechanics of the game itself. At the begining of the session we will go over the tools together and discuss any additional tools we would like to bring or any changes that may need to be made. There will be no combat in this game due to the nature of wanderhome and we will not include any depictions of violence. There may be depictions of past instances of violence but care and caution will be used, as well as an open discussion of what the table would like to see or explore within this realm.
