About the adventure
This campaign morphed into the end of the Vecna: Eye of Ruin Campaign and we are looking for a couple more to finish it up! You will come in as Level 20 and have a great time with great players. If you read my reviews, you should expect: • A weekly game with a fun DM and a well matched party. • Lots of storytelling, and history not mentioned in the books. • No pressure, no bullying, no jerks. We're all there to have fun and hear a great story • Added skill challenges and roleplaying beyond the book • Exploration of Krynn • Very good combat, I'm very tactical (but not mean), and I have excellent API's on Roll20 • A DM that loves Dragonlance, did I mention that? I will help you build a character, or teach you 5e lore before we begin the session, so we can get right into it.

About me
Hail and Well Met Gamers! Some call me... Jeremy Jordan. I am an old gamer, game designer, RPG enthusiast, and have always held the belief that a game should be fun. I have worked on a lot of projects over the years, mostly D&D related. I was a Delegate for Wizards of the Coast, in addition to one of their convention staff. I helped launch 4th and 5th edition D&D, and have been playing since 1st edition. Recently I helped design and launch The Land Roleplaying System, based off of the best selling Chaos Seeds novels by Dr. Aleron Kong. In 2022 I moved 1000 miles from my player base to Florida, and am looking to once again run games for anyone willing to share a story with me. I'm happy to run D&D 3.5/4/5 for any group, and am currently setting up campaign terms for The Land Roleplaying System. I have an established Roll20 account with decent macros- please contact me if you would like to set up a gaming session. I tend to be corny - and I'm more about having fun with players than beating someone up over a ruling - and I will do my best to ensure we all have a good time.

Creating your character
Upon reserving a spot, you will be given a link to our D&D Beyond campaign, where you can use our resources to make a character. All of the character math is done - you simply choose what you want to upgrade and the generator does all the math. For this game, all characters will begin at level 1, but we do have a scaling system to help you fit in if you start late. If you are ready to create your character in D&D Beyond or Roll20, use either the "Standard Array" or "Point Buy" system, with "Fixed" Hit Points. If you need a pre-made character, we can handle that as well. You will then use the "Beyond20" Chrome Extension to play - we can explain all details in our discord server if you are new to it.
Our campaign has lots of extra content, and we are currently in the wastes, if you are joining it from another campaign. new players welcome
What to expect
Preparing for the session
As this is an introductory game, there is no need for previous knowledge of the world or the system. We would appreciate all players having a working microphone with no background noise. We intend to use Discord for audio, and the game will be run on Roll20- so each player will need a free Roll20 account and a Discord account. This game's setting will be more familiar to those that know the Dragonlance novels, and I recommend all read them whether they are playing in my campaign or not. :) All players must have: - Roll20 Account - Discord Account - Must join our discord: https://discord.gg/thelandrpg - Desktop/Laptop with Chrome - Speaker / Microphone (through computer, or Discord) app on phone and a quiet place to play.

How Jeremy Jordan creates a safe table
I use several API's (program scripts) to speed up combat and make it easier to understand for newer players. I'm not very rules heavy if it slows down the game, but I will advise players that don't know how to play, or players that are unsure of what they should do if things slow down. As I have over 30 years of DM experience, I have a lot of improv techniques to keep things going, but I always advise players to look past their character sheet and imagine what they would do in that situation. As I run several campaigns, we have a very robust Discord community to help you learn and expand support as one of my gaming friends.
