How to prepare

You'll need Roll20, Discord, and mic, preferably a cam as well. In addition a character idea, even if it's as general as "I wanna be a wizard". Oh and D&DBeyond.

What I provide

I will bring the story, and as much, or as little of your characters backstory as you desire. 25+ years of dungeon master experience, using my knowledge of the game, Forgotten Realms, and storytelling. In addition I'll build out maps, and art, and handouts. Plus a lot of homebrew and 3rd party resources, making sure you get to play the game and see the story, you want to see.

Gameplay details

It's hard to say what this game will entail, it will depend entirely on the group, how dark individual stories, or the over arching story will get will be based on the wishes of the players. During session 0 we will discuss hard line, and soft ones. As well as roughly lay out what you'd like to see as an individual in your own character arc, and as a group for the side stories, and overarching quest.

How will character creation work

Come to session 0 with a concept. If you're not familiar with 5e, or the Forgotten Realms, we can do this together. Don't put anything on paper yet though, as we may have changes after hearing the rest of the groups wishes, ect. In addition, if you wish, I will make a character with a fully fleshed out backstory for you. Sometimes it's fun to breathe life into a set of stats. At least I think so.
