About the adventure
High level Combat, some RP, maybe a puzzle and then more combat! Vecna the demigod is looking for a promotion to full godhood. Already having taken control of Faerun, he wants to spread his power throughout and beyond the Material Plane. He has camped himself out at a small temple inside a dormant volcano on a far off unnamed island. Goading adventurers to try and defeat him, each Party he kills increases his power and puts him closer to godhood. Many have tried, many have failed. And then along comes.... You! Play by Post. You can post whenever you want, I will be available most of the day to respond just probably not between 11pm and 6am (GMT+11). The game is on discord with maps on Roll20 and we use the bot Avrae to roll from our dndbeyond sheets. Pay only once per week. Characters will go from Level 14-17, however the goal of will be that the characters will feel, by the final encounter, as though they're level 18+ Happy to help with character creation, Avrae commands and anything else. We are all always learning.

Greetings, I have been lucky enough to be DMing and playing 5e for 5 years now. I love telling stories and helping players bring their characters to life. I am more than happy to accomodate new players, my attitude is that we are all always learning. My philosophy is story trumps rules, fun trumps story. Rule of cool always. I like combat and role playing and try to balance these elements as best as I can. Level 14 Point Buy for Stats Sourcebooks allowed: Dungeon Master's Guide, Player's Handbook, Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons, Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide, Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, Monsters of the Multiverse, Astral Adventurer's Guide, Others allowed by request. Starting Magic items: 1 Legendary item 2 Rare 4 Common or 1 Very Rare item and 1 consumable item (a potion or scroll) 3 Uncommon 6,000 extra starting gold You also start with starting equipment and 10x the normal gold from your background. You can have spent it on anything mundane precampaign. If you want to buy extra common items/weapons let me know we can work out something. In addition you can buy these healing potions: Healing - 50gp Greater healing - 100gp Superior healing - 500gp Scrolls are available only up to 3rd level: Cantrips - 25gp 1st - 75gp 2nd - 150gp 3rd - 300gp

How Joseph creates a safe table
There are a lot of content warnings, I hope they all don't come up but I put a few of them in just because they may potentially come up. Prejudice and classism will be in game only. There may be some in game "racism" as in towards elves, tieflings, gnomes, etc. And that will only be with the consent of all players. No 'real' racism of real races. There will be no racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or personal threats of any kind out of game. any of these violations will result in an instant ban. We will do our Stars and Wishes at the start of every week, but it won't be a strict thing. As a part of session zero we will definitely do wishes. You can also do stars whenever you like. Please feel free to PM me during gameplay with any issues. We are all here to have fun, if you aren't having fun let me know and we can resolve it together.
