About the adventure
Gerald Frazer has made a desperate request. His son, James, has run abandoned his studies at Miskatonic University in pursuit of romance. Nine days ago, he left school with the intentions of traveling to Kingsport to reunite with his sweetheart, Emily.... but he never arrived. Gerald admits that the last contact he had with his son was an argument over the phone where he admonished James for choosing love over an education. He remembers him mentioning that he was tired from driving all day and had plans to stop at a local motel for the night.... You are asked to investigate the disappearance of James Frazer. His father, Gerald, is a high-status banker in Arkham and is asking for, above all, discretion. He refuses to allow the decisions of foolish, young love to tarnish the family reputation or create a scandal. You have been provided with a $200 retainer and a photograph of James. Yes!! You should book this GM for you adventure. Kim is an excellent story teller and Cthulhu keeper. She has the investigators best interest in mind and will lead you into a story that will challenge your skills, wits and sanity. Good luck and happy gaming out there 🙂

Kim was so amazing as a dungeon master at a fairy themed party I was a part of. We were all beginners and she really made it so easy for us to jump in and start having fun. She explained things as we needed them rather than all at once so we weren't overwhelmed. The mood was set with music and props that she brought. I loved her quirky personality and would highly recommend her!

How to prepare
-Roll20 Account (free) -Discord Account (free) -Mic/Webcam (video is not necessary, but preferred) There are lots of videos available re: rules of Call of Cthulhu, but we will go over how to play before we begin.

Gameplay details
Trigger Warnings are mentioned in the description. If you need further details, please message directly. Things have been left somewhat vague as to not giveaway the mystery of the scenario. Experience: None required. All you really need is an interest in wanting to play/learn the system and a curiosity to the genre (horror/mystery). We will go over the rules of the system at the beginning of the session. Roleplay: Strongly encouraged. The heart of Call of Cthulhu is the interactions between the characters involved. Oftentimes, it is about working together to solve a problem and survive the night. Riddles: At the core, this scenario involves uncovering the mystery as it is revealed. Combat: Minimal, there are possible outcomes that could lead to physical altercations, but CoC rarely involves them.
