About me
Hello all! i have started hosting rpg as an entrepreneur and because i am really passionate about this community. i started playing D&D in college and quickly made some of my best friends through it and despite living far away we still keep a weekly game going. i am a long time player of D&D and a fairly new DM who is excited to work with both experienced and new players. if D&D isn't your thing i have got a variety of other TTRPGs i can run such as monster of the week, monsterhearts, fate, and more. i am also willing to learn new systems. i think what sets me apart from other GMs is that I have a background in psychology and before this i wanted integrate rpgs into a therapeutic setting because of the sense of community rpgs give and the freedom they give you to explore themes, relationships, and choices. As a GM my focus is on you having fun and feeling safe. also as someone with learning disabilities i will work hard at making each game i run feel as accessible as possible. my over all hope as a GM is to create a welcoming environment for people of all kinds to feel accepted and make new friends.

i am open to helping create characters over discord or in person depending on if players are local. if players rather make characters on their own they can. you my make your character on any kind of character sheet. if you want access to the witchlight backgrounds and races i would suggest making your character on D&D beyond. i

What to expect
Preparing for the session
please have a discord account as well as a mic and a roll20 account. for all session after session 0 please have your character sheet read and a way of taking notes with you. players will be given inspiration at the start of the session if they took notes and can provide a recap.

How Carson creates a safe table
for my players I would like to have a session 0 to go over safety details and self care during this session. session 0 will either be in person or over discord in a video chat. if there is anything a player would rather mention in private with me they can contact me over discord or facebook. after each session of gameplay I will offer a debrief to talk about how things went and any concerns players might have.
