About the adventure
In the ashes of the old world, a new tyrannical Empire is forming, attempting to dominate the population through sword and spear. You and your party must fight to stop this evil force from taking hold of the world, doing whatever it takes to stop it. Turning enemies to friends, allies to foes, and even travel to Hell and back In this adventure, your party will face powerful dragons, delve deep into monster-infested dungeons, rebel against the powers that be and shape the future of the island nation of Durnland. Play a campaign where your decisions matter, where you are empowered to make decisions, to stray off the beaten path and become your own kind of hero, whether it be by winning great battles, by saving innocents, freeing slaves or just good ol' dragon slaying! α β γ δ ε ζ η θ ι κ λ μ ν ξ ο π ρ σ τ υ φ χ ψ ω Durnland is a large island flanked by oceans on all sides, a country that up until the last few hundred years was made up of independent city states, this was until the city state of Osturia conquered the entire island and founded the Durolin empire. However, after many centuries of rule and expansion into outer islands, the empire has collapsed, and chaos has suddenly broken out as those in power scramble to keep what they can and even expand their own territory and wealth.

Hey all, Scott here! I'm a Game Master from Australia, and I’ve been running TTRPGs for longer than I care to admit. With a background in film and a lifelong love of storytelling, I’m passionate about crafting cinematic, character-driven adventures full of laughter, tension, and maybe a few tears. My favorite video game series is a tie between The Legend of Zelda and God of War (The soundtracks of which you will become very familiar with if you join any of my games). Creating your character
Characters are level 3 at the start of the campaign and I will help players create their characters, either in a private VC between me and the player prior to session 0 or during session 0.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players are expected to have a functional microphone, and will need to have discord which we will be using for voice chat and for music, the VTT we'll be using has a digital dice roller, as well as discord bots for dice rolling so physical dice are welcome but not required! Characters can be made prior to session 0, however I will also have pre-made character sheets for players to make use of if they need for as long as they wish to use them.
What Scotty C brings to the table
I will bring the paid version of Owlbear Rodeo, that allows players to get the most out of the software, without having to pay themselves, as well as maps for all battle maps, towns, cities and countries required within the game. I am also able to make tokens out of players' heroforge models or character art, as well as providing custom playlists for the game.

How Scotty C creates a safe table
During Session 0 we will go over the boundaries for a variety of topics that could potentially appear in-game, including social-issues, romance within the game and gore. This is a beginner friendly campaign and I am more than prepared to teach or assist players anything they need to know about D&D5e or the world, including helping with character creation.
