About the adventure
Welcome to the world of Dragonlance, where the forces of good and evil are locked in an epic struggle. You are about to embark on a journey led by Dungeon Master Zesty , where you will encounter dragons, wizards, and warriors as you explore the lands of Ansalon. This will be a weekly game that will take players from 1st - 15th level and possibly beyond. We will be doing some official 5e content as well as weaving in some older Dragonlance content. I will try to encompass as much of the War of the Lance as possible, using all the content I have at my disposal. The War of the Lance is an epic story of heroism and adventure set in the world of Dragonlance. As a player in this campaign, you will be transported to the land of Ansalon, where you will join a group of brave warriors, powerful wizards, and noble knights in their fight against the forces of darkness. This is a story of good versus evil, of love and sacrifice, and of the power of friendship and determination. This is a story of epic proportions, where the fate of the world is at stake. The evil dragon overlords, led by the powerful Takhisis, are attempting to conquer and enslave the people of Ansalon. It is up to a small group of brave heroes to stop them and bring freedom to the land. You will be part of this group, taking on the role of a powerful warrior, a wise wizard, or a noble knight, each with their own unique abilities and strengths. As you journey, you will encounter many challenges and obstacles. You will fight against terrifying dragons, battle fierce monsters, and explore ancient ruins. But you will also make powerful allies and discover ancient artifacts that will aid you in your quest. The War of the Lance is not just about combat and adventure, it is also a story of relationships and personal growth. You will have the opportunity to form bonds with your fellow party members and develop your character's backstory and motivations. The decisions you make and the actions you take will have a real impact on the story and the world around you. My name is Zesty (Aaron) and I've been playing D&D 3, 3.5 and 5e for almost 25 years and DMing on and off for just about as long. Creating your character
Players will need to create characters through D&D Beyond using point buy. All official sourcebooks may be used. No UA. We'll start with level 1 characters and will be able to import them into foundry. You will then be able to level up your characters in D&D Beyond. If you need help in creating a character, I can help with this, or if you would like a pregenerated character I can provide one.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need to have a mic, a D&D Beyond account and a discord account where we will be communicating. You'll also need a computer, Foundry VTT will be accessed through the web browser.
What Zesty brings to the table
I provide Foundry VTT (the virtual tabletop system we will be using to play) with extensive digital assets. No license for Foundry VTT is needed for the players. Content Sharing on D&D Beyond including many of the source books. It's a growing collection, so if I don't have the content you are looking for, let me know and I'll work to get what you need. I will provide custom art commemorating your hero of legend!

How Zesty creates a safe table
We will run a free session 0 to make sure everyone is comfortable. All characters can be built in DnD beyond or on Foundry. I will send out discord and game links once you've joined the game.
