Creating your character

You start with... -Your starter Pokemon (Any non-legendary) (Can be shiny). -Art for your TRAINER, I will supply art for Pokemon unless you have art you would rather use. Send all art to me. -Pick your trainer's attributes using the standard 5e array of: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8. -You start with proficiency in Animal Handling, and 3 other skills of your choice. -A trainer class from the Pokemon 5E handbook.

Preparing for the session

Knowledge of pokemon lore is not required, but may enhance your experience as this game will feature locations and NPCs from the pokemon universe (shows/games). You must join my Discord, as that is where the game chat is hosted. You must be able to use voice chat. Disruptions such as loud ambient noises or other people talking will not be permitted. Any audio help needed will be happily provided!

Homebrew rules

No feats, No Attack of Opportunity. This game uses a custom "Pokemon Moves" book which rebalances normal 5E combat.

How Puzzle Sphinx Adventures creates a safe table

Session 0 is a FREE meeting to ensure that all players are safe, respectable, and understand the expectations. As a DM I have several years on SPG, and over a decade IRL in managing games. I run my games like a business, and strive to give all customers the same customer service you would expect from a 5 star company. Players are encouraged to participate in my Discord to share memes, and become greater friends! All of my games get a private, secure Discord channel with appropriate threads to keep records, link to rulebooks, and give you a space to use for art or anything you need! Private groups will also get a private group chat. All games are streamed on Twitch. I believe 100% in the quality of my games, and have always allowed them to be viewed publicly. This ensures perfect quality control, as my brand name is at risk if I do anything wrong. This protects all players, and myself, by keeping a public recording for any unseen issues with customer support. I am fully transparent with all rules and TOS, and can provide assistance when navigating SPG's support if needed. Session 0 will include -All the rules, and house rules -Character creation -Meeting your new group -Discuss backstories -The story so far -A combat test so everyone knows how to play!
