About the adventure
Delve into the sands of Ha'Akir. The old gods are gone and the new Gods are cruel, life is hard but perhaps there is a way? The Old Gods may not be so forgotten. About me
Fun and lively DM travelling around the world in my self converted camper van! I run a YouTube channel for my adventures and DM Dungeons and Dragons games from the comfort of the great outdoors. I've been DMing games now for over 3 years two or thee times per week, With a long running campaign since the start and numerous short campaigns or one shots in between. I love it and my players have great fun investing in their characters or making crazy new ones for one shots. I use DnD beyond for character creation and share the books that I own with the players. I own the majority of them and will be getting the few I don't yet have in the coming months. Every session held somewhere different these games will explore either official source books that I have expanded with homebrew content or my own homebrew version of Sir Terry Pratchett's Discworld! Creating your character
If you have a character prepared then please bring them along and have them approved in the Nomadic Nerd discord. (once you're approved to join the game you will get a link to join and submit your character) . If not, create your own with the DM or choose from a selection of pre prepared characters. Characters will begin at level 3. Backstory encouraged but not essential. A session zero will take place to create them, or if joining later a quick chat via discord to create your character for the game. PHB/Xanathars/Tasha's & Van Richtens okay Standard array Ability scores
Weekly game No PVP Evil tactics, you are a team working to your own party success. Party has 1 Fighter 1 Wizard 1 Artificer + NPC Wizard! The party are misfits and weird. Big RP group with a sense of humour.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Mic is essential, Camera is encouraged but optional. Voice/Video will be handled by Discord app. Character creation via DnD beyond. Gameplay hosted on Talespire. If players do not own a copy the game can be streamed via discord. Custom Hero Forge player Minis imported to game by DM after two sessions play.

I bring the world! Custom spell animations, Voices for NPCs, inspired background music and awesome battle music. Combat is fast paced and interesting and I do my best to bring the world to life around you. Source books from DnD beyond made available to you for character creation and development.

NEW PLAYERS WELCOME: I am more than happy to take the time to explain rules or options open to newer players. Players can expect a dark and realistic approach to the game using standard and a few custom content rule adjustments. Safety tools will be in place for players to discount or alert the group to situations that make them uncomfortable, no reason to big or too small to be accounted for simply message the DM and let me know.
