About the adventure
Deep beneath the surface of the world lies the Underdark, a realm of endless labyrinthine tunnels and caverns where the sun never shines. The Underdark is filled with races and creatures too numerous to count or list, and foremost among these are the dark elves — the drow. In this campaign you will explore the Underdark and learn its terrifying secrets as you try to stay one step ahead of the dark elves that dwell there. About me
“I will be your science teacher today…” are the words I said four times daily for the last thirteen years. I had always told my students to “follow their passions” but I realized I never really followed my own advice. So here I am. I have sold my soul to Dungeons and Dragons and now I am a professional Dungeon Master, and it seems to be working well :). I have been a Dungeon Master since the Earth started cooling (actually it was the 80's) and I feel honored every single time that I can bring excitement and adventure to my players in a relaxed & safe environment. Everyone at my table is accepted for who they are because we are all here to have a good time and maybe make some new friends. My goal is to work with my players to tell an amazing story where they get to be the heroes and I get to be their biggest fan. This is my passion. My promise to you as a Dungeon Master: Before each game I will give you clear instructions and I will be available to answer any questions you might have so that your game experience is the best it can possibly be. During the game I will listen to you and treat you with respect and kindness. I am happy to teach new players and I am happy to learn from experienced ones as well as this is a social game and we all have something to contribute. And my focus will be to give you an unforgettable, epic adventure that will be full of excitement and possibly some of my quirky humor. In conclusion... Creating your character
Character creation will occur either before or after session zero but prior to the first session. They will be created in DnD Beyond and you will have full access to all the materials on the website.
This campaign will play every Sunday. New players are welcome!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a mic and the AboveVTT free extension downloaded for either Google Chrome or Firefox. A basic knowledge of the rules is preferred but I am willing to work with new players.
