About the adventure

CHARACTERS LEVEL AS A GROUP AT GM DISCRETION. This campaign follows the crew of the *Hrothgar's Sermon*, a Grendel Class Light Freighter out of Tycho Station. Its mixed crew of Earthers, Martians, and Belters are freelance operators from a diverse array of backgrounds with equally varied skill-sets. Some of the crew seek redemption, some serve their egos, some are on the run, a few seek knowledge & wisdom, some simply choose to serve others, and all of them are happy to do a stranger a solid if they can earn some money doing so. A lot of this game is likely to be theater of the mind with conflict scenes taking place on dynamically-lit maps. In-game discussion will use Discord for voice chat, and players are encouraged to whisper (/w) among one another freely throughout the course of a session.

How to prepare

Know your character sheets and the personality of your character. I highly encourage practicing your character and how they'll think and interact with everyday things. Make sure you have your backstory in place so we know how it is that you'll behave. Mics, a Discord account, and a Roll20 account are all required. Owning the PDFs or books will be very helpful and lead to less frustration, and so is highly recommended. Support publishers of content you love.

Gameplay details

The first hour will be focused on set-up, resolving player tech issues, and addressing any player concerns. How will character creation work

New characters start at the same level as the rest of the group. Characters can be of any heritage the player wishes. The ship's crew is inclusive, but do have their nationalistic prejudices. Initial abilities are rolled, but with a minimum of 12 advancements.
