About the adventure
In the dying days of the Clone Wars, a band of rogues must navigate their way through underworlds in a state of chaos and upheaval as the galaxy itself churns with turmoil. They will need to face danger, intrigue, conflict and betrayal, as they search for money, truth, fame, or merely a place to call home. The themes are similar to The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett crossed with classic Crime Drama movies like Casino and Goodfellas, with a bit of Wild West thrown in, all with Space Travel, the Star Wars setting, and a group of tough comrades with mysterious pasts. There will be a mix of open-ended missions coupled with a helping of more sandbox-style galaxy exploration, previous encounters will likely generate ongoing plots and sub-plots. I'm planning on using the pre-written stuff as a jumping off point, (that's assuming the players aren't already familiar with it), and some of the campaign is of course going to be constructed from the threads of the PC's obligations. We absolutely could use AoR content, or even fit in force users or former Jedi (either from F&D or Rise/Fall) with some creative writing. I like a good mix of RP and Combat, maybe leaning a bit more RP where possible, I'm keen on the “acting” side of games, but I believe that adversity makes for interesting stories – so be prepared for the possibility of defeat as well as victory! There will be a session 0 and a tryout session which will not be charged, when you decide that the game is for you, further sessions are $16 per session.

About me
Ave and all other greetings! Where shall we take your adventure this week? If you're looking for someone uniquely passionate about RPGs, I'm your pick. I've been running games for 17 years, and the craft is very familiar to me, though I've sadly never met anyone more fanatical about games than I am (and I've met Matt Mercer twice). Note I'm on UK time. My idea of time well-spent is reading an RPG manual (while my child and cats attack me), so I've got lots of experience of various systems, experience in everything from semi-pro acting to radio work, and your adventure could be light-hearted and whimsical, deep and complex or anything in between. Maybe you'd like a "rule of cool" 5E game with cannon-wielding battle pigs? How about about a tragic and emotional journey through 1990's Indiana in Vampire the Masquerade? What if you're all roadies & bodyguards for an insane euro-rockerboy in the dystopian world of Cyberpunk 2020? Any new player willing to cultivate a love of the game is welcome, introducing the rules to someone is great (another cultist for the dice god!). I think that one of the tough things about modern life is that it often stifles our creativity and imagination, which can be a source of such joy for all of us; so here's the invitation now, to embark on something quite *fantastical*
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
I am more than happy to walk you through character creation in it's entirety, though if you already know the system, you can make a character with less GM-input. The group will talk together as to how their characters know and work together, perhaps making shared background elements as this is usually good. You don't need to come in with any system knowledge at first, though knowledge of at least some Star Wars lore is highly recommended. Characters will be generated as starting "level" so to speak. If we can brainstorm at least some initial character ideas, there's a process of question-and-answer to generate extra character elements if you'd find that helpful.
This should be every Sunday, four hours minimum, with a short interval breaking it up.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need Discord and a decent working microphone. Tabletop simulator is desirable but not strictly required as it can be streamed. Basic Star Wars knowledge is recommended. Knowledge of the game-system is helpful but not required, it's simple enough to be learned through play. You'll need to prepare for the likelihood of both victory and defeat, immersing yourself in your character and meeting colorful figures.
What Wizard_Tea (or AK) brings to the table
I'll provide the forum for dice-rolling and maps/miniatures using tabletop simulator. I can walk you through the rules, character creation etc. If you have your own books, that's great, but it isn't necessary, I have them.

How Wizard_Tea (or AK) creates a safe table
Session 0 will be broad and go over expectations, group-creation and entwining characters. I find the best thing to do with lines/veils is to have an individual conversation with every player and talk about limits, both firm and mild. I encourage questions/comments/feedback.
