About the adventure
Your bones ache and grave dirt tumbles to the side as you sit up. You try to remember how you got here, but come up blank. With a shock, you realize you can't recall anything! You take stock of the equipment buried with you. Are these your weapons? Your armor? You stand, lifting yourself from a shallow grave and take stock of your surroundings. Simple wooden markers stand at the head of piles of grave dirt. You watch in horror and fascination as other bodies begin to push their way out of their resting places. Beyond the graveyard stands a small cottage. Standing in the doorway, silhouetted by the light inside, stands a hulking and armored figure. It calmly beckons for you to approach before stepping inside, leaving the door open to the inviting warmth within... Welcome to Bundle of Horror! Sam is an excellent DM that provides a great player experience that balances out battle, worldbuilding, exploration, and roleplaying! He integrates character backstory seamlessly into his homebrewed content and actively encourages player creatively. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

The feedback only lets you select 3 tags, but I would have chosen a lot more. During our game, the DM added fun and exciting world building and soundtracks that create an immersive experience. He uses the rule of cool more than not, which creates a space where beginning players can learn the ropes of DnD without getting anxious about all of the nitty gritty details. The story was exciting and fun, with lots of opportunities for the players to connect to each other while simultaneously solving puzzles and fighting bad guys. This was one of the most well-rounded (and incredible!) games of DnD I've ever played!

Sam puts so much work in to worldbuilding, mapbuilding, and creating ambience. He is always willing to let you explore your character and let backstory influence the main plot. He prioritizes storytelling over hardcore combat in my experience, so dont be afraid to request time to characterbuild with other players if thats your jam. His NPCs are legendary and such a joy to interact with! He is inclusive and kind, and expects everyone in his groups to act the same way. Ive always felt safe and seen playing with Sam. As a disabled person, he has given me so much space to explore my disabilities within my characters which is just so cool. I particularly reccomend Sam for new players because he is patient and willing to walk you through unfamiliar rules. People who are queer, disabled, or neurodivergent will feel really comfortable in his campaigns!

I am a brand new player and Sam has really taken a lot of time and put in a lot of effort to make sure I understand the mechanics of the game. His storytelling leaves me pondering what will happen next on the campaign until the next session. He has never made me feel put down or embarrassed by asking questions, and if anything encourages it! He is a wonderful resource and will certainly inspire you to get into the game.

How to prepare
Prepare account on Roll20 and familiarize yourself with common features Prepare character sheet in format of your choice (D&DBeyond encouraged) and link to DM You will need a Discord account and mic for party chat. Webcam encouraged but not required. Come ready to contribute your experience, or ready and eager to learn!
What I provide
I will provide professional VTT maps, original music and soundscapes, and art for all NPC's and PC's. Feel free to send me your own character art if you have a preference.
Gameplay details
Players can expect thrilling combat through a variety of locals and enemies. I have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, sexual harassment, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other prejudicial behavior. Those who can't abide by these standards will be asked to leave with no refund.

How will character creation work
Characters will start at Level 1 and will advance a level with each cleared dungeon. Character creation will occur before Session 0 during a 1-on-1 session with the DM. Homebrew material is welcome on a case by case basis, pending the DM's approval. We will create backstories together, under DM's guidance, during Session 0 Starting Equipment Only No Feats until Lvl 4 Stats determined by roll 4d6 drop lowest
