About me

Sam began his journey as a DM as a way to stay connected with friends during quarantine and has since fallen in love with the role. He specializes in introducing new players to the hobby and working with his players to create inclusive and epic adventures. When not playing D&D, he enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy, playing video games, and studying anthropology.

GM style

I have a personal love for the complexities of puzzles and combat in D&D, but I believe that the true heart of a good campaign is based in roleplaying and communal storytelling. I constantly work to adapt the events of the game to my players to make sure that everyone is engaged and has their moment in the spotlight. I am a huge fan of homebrew content, and will often introduce my own twists when utilizing modules. I am also open to allow players to introduce homebrew as well. Overall, I view D&D as a communal activity and feel that it is my responsibility as DM to make sure everyone is having fun and feels like they have the chance to meaningfully contribute to the experience.
