About the adventure

GIANTS!!!!! DRAGONS!!!! GIANTS FIGHTING DRAGONS!!! UNDEAD GIANTS!!! UNDEAD GIANTS FIGHTING UNDEAD DRAGONS!!!! AAAAAH!!!! The whole world has gone upside down for the Small Folk of Faerun! Huge creatures who had mostly kept to themselves for centuries have begun to re-emerge and wreak havoc on the lands of the Sword Coast, your home! Join a party of adventurers who aim to do something about it! *This campaign begins at Level 5 *All official 5E races are permitted and official classes. *Bring your best level 5 Big Monster Hunting Build! What I bring to the table: *Unlocked DnDBeyond Content *High Quality Maps from numerous Patreon Creators *Pro account with Roll20 *I'm a roleplayer at heart and love to weave in player backstories *I use Milestone Leveling *I like to do voices (as best I can) but don't expect that from my players. *I am NOT OK with NSFW or ERP, nor am I OK with PVP amongst the group and I won't tolerate any of it at my table. I am running my homebrewed version of Storm King's Thunder which takes inspiration from many many years of Forgotten Realms lore. Campaign begins at Level 5 and will run through level 13-15. Ideally this will be for 5-6 players but I will kick things off as soon as I have 3 players signed up. Each player will do a free Session Zero one on one with me to build their character to make sure they are a good fit for the group and the first two to join will get the Early Bird discount on their Session One where we introduce your characters. The game will be roleplay heavy but I love a good combat too and each session I reward one player for BRP (Best Roleplay) and one as MVP (Most Valuable Play). I love when PCs find ways to solve big problems in unique ways and I reward play that supports this. Your party, having just formed in the hopes of finding your fortunes as adventurers, has traveled from Waterdeep to a tiny hamlet called Wellspring, on the edge of Ardeep Forest not far from the larger town of Nightstone. Mushroom farmers and goatherds, the folk of Wellspring are simple and unconcerned with much other than their mushroom trade. Recently, folk there had reported unexplained disappearances of some of the mushroom gatherers in Ardeep forest, where their crops are sown. These farmers take their goats into Ardeep forest to feast on the underbrush and keep their mushroom patches clear. But some of the harvesters, their goats, and equipment have just disappeared. Often only a piece or two of the person's belongings remain. The crop will be dug into with deep heavy grooves. Signs of a struggle, and often a massive footprint or two are also found near the scene. As you had been traveling down the High Road, towards Wellspring Village, you glimpsed a floating tower, built upon a cloud, flying high above.
