About the adventure
Welcome the the Dragonbowl tournament! Here the action in the arena is intense, but so is the intrigue in the festival grounds outside. Xanathar, Jarlaxle, and other deadly agents all have grand schemes for the tournament and will do whatever it takes to get their way. Uncover the true fate of the Dragonblade Champions in this light-hearted, sandbox-style adventure filled with colorful characters and dastardly plots. "Secret of the Dragonblade Champion" is a wild mix of anime tournament arcs, pro wrestling, Fallout: New Vegas, The Hunger Games, sports anime, and 70's sci-fi flicks like Rollerball, Deathrace 2000, and Soylent Green. If any you like any of those, then this is the campaign for you! ----- ----- Dragonbowl was written by Duncan Rhodes and published by Hipsters and Dragons. https://www.dmsguild.com/product/357920/DRAGONBOWL-5e-adventure

About me
I've been GMing roleplaying games for over 20 years. I'm the quintesential "forever GM." Running games brings me a ton of joy and I want to bring that joy to other players! I love big, fun, bombastic action-adventure stories and my games tend to resemble those. If you want a tabletop experience that emphasizes big moments, a sense of momentum, and player engagement, then I'm the GM for you. Preferred Games: Dungeons and Dragons (5e), Spirit of the Century (FATE system), Broken Compass, Blades in the Dark

This campaign is for you if you... *Enjoy a sandbox setting where players are encouraged to explore and discover *Like a collaborative storytelling style *Like stylish combat where perfect tactics take a backseat to cool action moments *Are okay with a DM who tries many silly voices... poorly Players can expect flexibility with the rules (Rule of Cool wins out over Rules as Written) and a collaborative storytelling approach to combat. The tone of the campaign is high energy. Intense action, drama, and comedy are all welcome. __Content Warnings__ Dragonbowl contains depictions of action violence, blood, drug/alcohol use, and gambling. Additionally, this adventure contains references to (but not depictions of) slavery, animal cruelty, prejudice, harassment, and an extremely brief, non-detailed reference to self-harm.
